Black Rock has a good variety of food and large selection of alcoholic beverages. I got the virgin strawberry daiquiri. 🍹 You get to cook your choice of steak on a 🌋HOT Lava Stone🌋 to the way you like it. 🐌The food was more slow to come out than usual for what is considered a top quality restaurant. Most of it was rather delicious. The bread that came out with the lobster dip was a bit salty. The dip itself was so good. There was a lot of oil at the bottom of the dish of the fried pickles. The lukewarm French onion soup was okay. 🍤 The Bubbling shrimp was tasty, but I shouldn't have left it in the hot butter for so long. I loved the Campfire baked sweet potato.Cooking the steak with garlic butter is aromatic and savory. ☺️The server was very helpful in how to order and cook the steak on the extremely HoT rock as this was my 1st time dining there. 🥩 I will go back. 👍

Very friendly caring service. Took extra time to verify for food allergies. My family went as we were reeling from the loss of my beloved sister, who was also a wife and mother. We just needed a good comforting experience, spending time together to distract us from the horrible monster that cancer is for a few hours. It was the kind of good food and unique experience (you cook your own steak on lava rocks heated to 777°) that my sister would have loved,and in healthier times would have spear headed a trip to. I will absolutely return with my family to visit this establishment again.

I went here with my parents(in their early 80’s) on Veterans Day. We called ahead and showed up just before 5pm. Obviously they were busy. First off, they service and front of the house were really great! The food was average. My father didn’t eat his lamb chops, we ended up sharing my NY strip. It was good, but nothing special. The loaded mashed potatoes were good, but again nothing special. The food came out at weird times. My mother really liked her chicken tortilla soup and her steak, her green beans were barely cooked. Their steak sauce stuff is weirdly good, it took me a minute to figure it out, but very tasty. Another gripe was there was a fan above us blowing cold air down on us most of the time, we were in the area with mostly windows and not very warm. We all ended up wearing our jackets for the entire time. I might go back if I wasn’t paying. Again the FOH was pretty awesome.

Amazing food, amazing service (Kyle was the bomb). Really enjoyed this location. I’m use to going to Hartland, but we have recently moved out this way. We will be returning and highly recommend them! The pretzel bites and chili are highly 12/10 for us. My husband said the ribs are way better then Hartland location and I tried the new Mahi tacos and they were delicious. Fresh mango and cucumbers topped it just right! 10/10 highly recommend.

The irony of this place is that you pay full price to cook your own meal. It's a fun one-time experience. But I was so focused on not over cooking my steak that I couldn't really enjoy the conversation around the table. And the heat coming off the rock made me uncomfortably warm. None of that is the restaurant's fault. I knew upfront what I was ordering and that the stone would be extremely hot. The steak was delicious, but the brownie desert was extremely dry. That's why I rated the food at 3 stars Again, it was a unique experience, but I wouldn't choose it for a date night.

Great place to get a steak. I've only been here a couple times for lunch! You cook your own steak to the doneness you like! Not to knock Black Rock at all but i prefer Lucky's Steakhouse. All the food was great here, i just prefer a whole baked sweet potato over mashed. The French onion soup also good . Steak was delicious and just the way i like it!! The appetizer was delicious i preferred the white dip for the pretzels! The coconut shrimp were 🔥🔥🔥!Highly recommend 💚 💯💯

We had an amazing time for our Anniversary dinner. The food is amazing and extremely affordable! Will be going back soon!

First time at Black Rock, loved the idea of cooking my steak to my perfection, the butter and sauce were very good additions added to the whole flavor experience. Clam chowder was some of the best I've had 🤗.
