This is an incredibly charming, tucked-away restaurant with a perfectly fitting menu and friendly service. We have gone for brunch, lunch, and dinner over the years and have always had a nice meal each time. Their menu is reasonably priced and they have been able to accommodate a number of requests for allergies. Would recommend for anyone looking to dine somewhere quaint and away from any hustle or bustle.

I enjoyed the food. It was pricey but good. The pizza is really cheesy and I like that. It was crowded but that's okay. Service was nice as well. The lady at the table next to us kept complaining that the soup was too salty... Then she sent it back. I didn't experience that. Then she kept telling her husband that it was too loud and started talking bad about the people at the bar. I'm kind of a nosey drama lover so I listened as best I could. But I couldn't hear much because the people at the bar were being really loud. But overall I had a good time.

This is a nice cozy old town environment. The food was decent I can see returning, service was ok however the manager is very brash and we got the feeling she did not care to have us there not welcoming at all.

A lovely sunset evening on the porch with robust red wines- recommend the cabernet sauvignon and pinot noir. The swordfish special was excellent, perfectly grilled and veggies and fingerling potatoes were delicious and well-crafted. The scallop special was also perfectly sautéed and tender. Top it all off with the tasty pre-meal irish soda bread and toffee cake a la mode and the meal is complete!

I was searching for a brunch place and found this restaurant got really good reviews, so just came by for dine in. Everything turns out very well. The location and building is very unique, love the cozy feeling. The squash soup and pizza really stood out. Server is super friendly and recommended today’s specials. Will definitely come again.

Have been coming here off and on for years. Tucked away in a lovely neighborhood adjacent to a MARC commuter station in a house like structure. Food has always been consistently good. Wait staff also well trained and friendly. On our most recent visit I enjoyed the burger (pictured) which comes with small side salad and today very thinly sliced Onion rings. Burger was cooked as I ordering it, medium rare. Others enjoy the grain salad, another had shrimp and grits, all were pleased with the choices. Beverages are coke products, a fair beer selection, heavy on local craft beer and a good wine selection. Didn't see spirits or cocktails offered. (Pictured is Brewer's Art Resurrection Dubbel) We did have desserts - lemon mousse cake and a hazelnut chocolate creation of some kind, people tore into the desserts before I could take a picture. I thought appetizers and main dishes were better than desserts. Again, very consistent quality of food and good service make this place worth a visit.

Great spot for a home cooked meal tucked away in Garret Park. A nice hideaway to enjoy a cozy homemade soup in fall and winter or sit on front porch in spring or early fall, eat chat, watch trains or relax. A real "gem'. Added bonus is the small hometown post office under the building to mail packages without waiting or get stamps.

I love watching trains now because of this awesome restaurant!!! Love everything about it. Been going since long before kids, and luckily, the kids love it (and trains) as much as we do!!! Never a bad experience.
