This place has great coffee and their seasonal menu items (sweet potato latte) are pretty innovative as well. Lot of space to sit and work. Great service and good vibe

Good coffee and food choices. We did t try the cranberry toast and it is good , Avocado toast was good , chicken salad sandwich was good. The Ibis bakery almond croissant is always my favorite. The chocolate croissant is good but I wished they warmed it.

With Ibis Bakery right there in the restaurant, you know you’re going to get an excellent selection of pastries and other baked goods. I got a goat cheese bear claw, which was croissant flaky, savory and delicious. For a beverage I got a chai, which was typical, tasty and served dine-in warm. The folks behind the counter were friendly, helpful and efficient. Which was a good thing, because the place was beyond crowded. We ended up stuck sitting outside at a table on an oddly slanting part of the sidewalk. But the quality of the food more than made up for the odd seating arrangement.

Good food... mocha was excellent, matcha gree tea too. Wife liked the egg nog latte. They were hand crafted not like the big chain coffee shops.

I’m usually a lenient reviewer but I am going to have to give this place bad marks. I had high expectations on this cafe but may be it’s just their off day. Two things that we wanted to order were not available btw. We ended up ordering avocado toast and chicken salad sandwich. We received the wrong order at first. The waitress took it back and quickly brought out the actual order. The avocado toast was a single slice of bread with the thinnest possible layer of guac on it. I was really disappointed with it and expected more for an $8 item. The chicken salad sandwich was good, no complaints.

Black Dog on Black Friday. Fun atmosphere with a lot of energy. I had a hot vanilla, caramel, white chocolate latte. It was good, but could have been hotter. The maple donut was delicious!!

Fantastic coffee, the specialty drinks are definitely fun and creative and actually taste good. There's a nice atmosphere with little nooks and more private spaces to sit if you want something less in the middle of everything. Even in the main seating areas it's nothing overwhelming, just a pleasant busy coffee-shop vibe. The bakery goods are provided by Ibis bakery (on-site bakery as well) so you really can't go wrong with something to eat – I'll always recommend their classic and almond croissants. I had the coffee cake this time and it was the perfect bite to go with my mocha.

One of my favorite ☕️ shops in the greater KC metro area. Rich, flavorful and nutty coffee for the house blend. Plenty of coffee drinks for everyone. Quaint setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Offers breakfast and lunch items. Go today and shop local! 🙂
