Holy cow, talk about value for money! 14.99 for pot roast with a giant corn bread muffin, salad, and 2 sides. You truly can't beat that. Food is tasty and portions are generous. Everyone I encountered working there or coming in for a meal was polite and friendly. The decor inside was all bear-themed and adorable. From good food to good people, I recommend Black Bear Diner. 🐻

We were down from texas visiting family & decided to try this diner. We left confused why there weren’t as many customers since we all had nothing but good things to say about this diner. Everyone cleaned their plates & ordered dessert. The coconut cream pie was delicious. I would definitely recommend this diner.

I was staying at the Holiday Inn nearby, and two of the employees recommended Black Bear. I went and gave it a try and was blown away. Everything was so flavorful. I was expecting to need steak sauce with the steak, but it was seasoned so well, I didn't need to! The eggs were made perfect for me (I eat them scrambled well done, because I'm weird and don't like gooey eggs). And oh my gosh the pancake. It was so sweet and rich and delicious; they also came highly recommended and no regrets. The server was very helpful, and gave me recommendations. She recommended the pancake and the potatoes, and I'm glad I asked. TL;DR Excellent location, excellent food, and excellent service.

Visiting the area and decided to get some breakfast. I have been to this place a couple of years ago and remembered that I really liked the coffee here. When entering the restaurant this visit, it's seems like they were short staffed. There was no hostess, and the line at the door began to grow. 5 or so minutes had passed, and someone showed up. He seemed extremely busy, but he did his best to take care of everyone at the door. I applaud him for that. I was finally seated, and the waitress took care of me right away. She was very nice and attentive while busy running around at the same time. She ensured my coffee cup was full, which was awesome. I ordered one of the "fit" dishes. It had eggs, turkey sausage, spinach, cheese, mushrooms, fruit, and toast. It was mediocre. I stopped eating when I found a hair in my fruit. Also, the coffee wasn't as good as I remembered. It was also mediocre. The staff is great! But maybe Management can evaluate what is being delivered to the customer.

Saw the bears, read some reviews, had to stop. Warm welcome in.. staff super friendly. Great decor & Lively atmosphere. BEST Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Pancakes Ever!!! 🧡 Mouth Watering Goodness! Must make these a staple, all year round. 🙏🏼 The Fit & Focused Chicken Sausage Scramble was perfectly done & a Healthy balance to my pancake. 😋 Big Foot Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs w Biscuits & gravy, was a Show Stopper! UPDATE: From. 5 to 4 stars. A couple times now the experience hasn’t been the best food or staff wise. Staff less attentive and food sometimes barely warm when served Pros: 1. Friendly staff / host and waitress 2. Wait time wasn't too long for a Sunday noon (17 minutes) 3. Received drinks within 5 minutes of sitting down 4. Good about refills. Waitress, miss Yasmeen, stayed on top of it. 5. Order placed quickly and given time to look at menu 6. Inside themed well. Sets a nice mood/tone. 7. No loud music 8. Well stocked condiments 9. Order accurate to order 10. Wait time for food was typical for sit down restaurant 11. Use of phone notifications for knowing when seating is available for party 12. Vegetarian options for burgers Cons: 1. Floor was a bit dirty with some trash on it 2. Waiting area to get seated is small for the amount of people that wait 3. Parking lot somewhat small for busyness of location Summary: I plan to return to the location sometime! I'd definitely recommend it based on this experience I had. If your sights fall on this spot I'd give it a try but just know you are likely to have a bit of a wait before being seated.

Breakfast here is amazing. Huge helpings. Had the California omelet. It had avocado, mushrooms, and cheese! Got the incredible pancakes and some fresh fruit to go with it. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. Food is a little pricey for breakfast, but it was excellent.

It was my first time eating at any Black Bear Diner! I was told by several people, including the front desk agent at The Hampton Inn, to go here for sure! The advice was solid! The food was delicious! It was quiet and there were plenty of seats. I'm sure it gets very busy on weekends but on this Thursday evening, it was fairly slow. I want to give a HUGE shout out to Trey! She is a phenomenal server and her personality is, in my opinion, the very best part of this place! She was running around taking care of everyone. I'm sure she could use some help but I have zero doubt that this girl has a cape hidden below the uniform. She was outstanding! A little patience and understanding might be required because she is only one person but she was still knocking it out of the park! I never felt forgotten or unimportant. She took great care of me! All of her recommendations were perfect. Very well done, Trey! If you're in the area, stop by. Keep in mind that it's not fast food. Read the heroes stories on the paper/menu. Just relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The food and service are worth the wait!
