A really great restaurant with an extensive menu and value for money As Australians visiting Idaho we obviously wanted Idaho baked potatoes and we were not disappointed. I had steak with a loaded IP and onion rings. Big meal but very delicious. Wife had the salmon and couldn't finish. Our server was fantastic and enjoyed talking to her.

Plenty of food for your money! We love this chain restaurant. We try to go anytime we come out west. Always friendly, clean and great atmosphere. The jukebox plays easy listening older music. We had the $6.99 special and the country fried steak. Can’t go wrong with any breakfast you order. Also just joined the passport program for multiple visits.

We have been to these locations before and they are always GREAT! This one is no exception food was in plenty and awesome homemade taste. Comfort food fast and the surroundings are also great. A++.

Our first time to Black Bear Diner won’t be our last. The chicken fried steak was fork tender and the biscuits were HUGE and delicious. The restaurant was spotless, with very quick and friendly service. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations!

Faquez was our server and did a great job he made sure that we had everything that we needed and checked in with us multiple times during our meal but not to the point where it was annoying. He also kept the restaurant running like a well-oiled machine and kept the other employees doing the things that they should be doing around the restaurant including cleaning. A much better experience this time than it was 6 months ago when we stopped in there for a meal and the restaurant was dirty and the service was horrible. Thank you for making our meal a memorable experience.

We ordered Bigfoot chicken fried steak. Also little dinner pot roast. Both dinners are super good.

The cooks here are arrogant and rude. I ordered a sandwich and asked for no mayo on it as I have an egg allergy. When it came out it had mayo, so I asked for a new one and all they did was put 2 pieces of bread on top of the original sandwich and sent it back out. I watched the whole thing and the waitress communicate with them that I did not want mayo. The cooks were super annoyed and just slapped two pieces of bread on top of the sandwich, and sent it out. I was baffled. I will not come back.

Service was very good. My dinner was fine except for the stuffing which tasted like it came from a can. I wish they had offered down gravy instead of white. The prime rib could have used some spices on it. It really had no flavor. At least I had good company.
