Breakfast was amazing and the pancakes are the best over all other breakfast diners! The food came fast. My server, Maria, was the very attentive, fast and very diligent in checking on me. I needed breakfast but also needed to work, so I asked to be seated away from the crowds. I was seated in a place that allowed me to eat and work without issue. Thank you Black Bear and Maria for a great experience! My breakfast place of choice!
I always love black bear diner. My favorite is The Volcano! Tonight they allowed me to get half and half pancakes and French toast. So good.

Long day of driving and stopped for some grub. Old style diner atmosphere with booths and tables. Came in late in the day on a Sunday and was greeted and seated right away. Waiter was on the ball and got us Soda waters (my favorite :0)). I had the bacon cheeze burger with fries and the wife had the roast beef. WOW, the food was fantastic. Came to us quickly, hot and super tasty. Next time your in North Salt Lake City Utah, stop in. You'll love it!

Food was good, atmosphere was pathetic, employees were standing around doing nothing, except for NAOMI, our server. NAOMI is incredible! Her attitude is amazing, her customer service is amazing, and her performance is out of this world! You need to make sure she's paid what she's worth, and your other employees need re-training or attitude adjustments.
Service was good, but they served me a burger that was literally raw! Blood soaked bun and everything, then when I sent it back they just threw the same burger back on the grill or whatever and served it backed to me on the same blood soaked bun!! That cook should be fired, they comped it but I couldn't eat with my family I had to take it home to go. Everything I give this place a chance it's always wrong.
Cold food. I was told my take out order would be ready in 15 min. 50 min later I was given the food. Took home 1 min away. Food was cold. French toast hard. I think the food was cooked in 15 min and was put in to go bag for 50 min. Not good.
