Tasty foods in a large portion. It could feed two person easily. our waitress, Kim was really nice, friendly and informative. great location and atmosphere. I always wanted to try BB diner but never had the opportunity to do it although it is next to my home. I’m happy stopped by at Merced.
This restaurant was completely empty. The waitress was wonderful. We ordered cod and shrimp. The shrimp f Was over cooked , The cod was undercooked. The french fries were bomb.
I particularly enjoy the breakfast items here. Best Country Fried Steak in town! I like to touch on how they care about what it looks like in the restaurant inside and out, to make it feel welcoming and inviting.
The always reliable Black Bear. Hubby got a burger, I got the taco salad. The taco salad was just unseasoned ground beef. If I'm in the area again I'll just order the cheeseburger salad.
Second time here. Definitely coming back. Great menu. Lots of choices. More breakfast nummies than dinner but its all day breakfast dinner starts at 4PM.
The food was ok, not bad and not great. The Alfredo Pasta was not great, but the Meatloaf was very good. I like Black Bear Diners menus and food overall. The server was super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant bathrooms need renovation and the dining room is a bit tired.
We stopped here twice during a business trip. The first was for dinner. I had the Parmesan sourdough burger. It was very good, although the meat could've been spiced better. The second stop was for breakfast. I had the sweet cream waffle, which was amazing.
The manager with the glasses I believe his name was Raymond. Such a good man and staff were super nice and warm welcoming! Aswell as the food the chefs do an amazing job! This location serves the best service hands down without a doubt ladies and gentlemen!!
Pancakes are delicious. Loved my biscuits and gravy. The hashbrowns tasted a little like oil, ketchup didn't help. I would probably order house potatoes next time. I miss the feel of their old location, but food is still great.

Pretty Good Burger is not just a name, I felt like I was eating a homemade burger from Mom's kitchen. Delicious. The fries are awesome too, thick steak fries in crinkle cut form, nice and hot.
Super busy during weekend nights, but to be expected with a popular and super good pizza place. Got a slice of the special for the day, tastes amazing and reminded me of home back on the East coast. Highly recommend at least trying a slice!
