BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Restaurant in Louisville - 7900 Shelbyville Rd, USA

I came here on a date recently, and overall had a great experience. We were seated rather quickly and the staff were both attentive and friendly. Our appetizer (avocado egg rolls) was fantastic! We ordered the rack of ribs and the sirloin with asparagus, rice pilaf, baked potato and grilled vegetables. We had nothing to complain about with any of our food, especially dessert (assorted mini "pizzokies" with ice cream). The price was a little high, but it was still a great, relaxing experience.

We've generally been a fan of BJ's, and we've been to several different ones, but this one was a bit of a disappointment in service. We waited a VERY long time to be seated. It was not particularly busy, and three other couples came in during the time and also ended up waiting. Several servers passed and saw us all standing in front of the desk, but no one came and spoke with us. When we were finally shown to a table, they did apologize for the delay, but it's just poor service when the restaurant wasn't particularly busy or full. The food is standard BJ's fare and came out at a reasonable time. We were checked on a few times, but generally left to our own. We decided to forego dessert this time and continue on our drive. It's a pity about the service, not sure what management is doing that has staff so obviously disengaged and unhappy to be there.

Awesome food and drink. Avocado egg roll is a must to taste. It’s a place where you can go for when it’s a special day or a day when you want to eat out but confused where to go.

Came for a birthday dinner. But did not get a full plate of food, because the food was not prepared in a timely fashion. If you take a look at the photo. Can you guess what is missing? Chicken!! So as we waited, I ate the broccoli and mashed potatoes.

Our server Kadeisha was very sweet and provided wonderful service. I'm sorry but the Broccoli Cheddar soup didn't have much taste. Chicken Tortilla soup was salty. My husband built his own pizza and he said it needed more tomatoe sauce. The Prime Rib dinners were amazing and everyone truly enjoyed. Monkey bread with ice cream was delicious. Our brussle sprout appetizer i recommended for everyone. Absolutely delicious.

We stopped in BJ's for the Classic Cheeseburger, fries and sweet tea. Staff was friendly, efficient and definitely enjoyed the job. The food arrived quickly and was prepared to perfection. BJ's is definitely on our list when nothing but a cheeseburger fits the bill.

This has been one of our go top spots since we started dating TEN years ago! The food is always delicious, the service is superb, and the atmosphere is classy but also kind of sportsy. We’ve been to so many different locations over the years, but this one is the closest and we love it!

The food was good but the service wasn’t great. Didn’t have silverware even after the food was brought to the the table. The floors felt very slick like grease. The women’s bathroom was very dirty and had no toilet paper in 2 of the 4 stalls. The drinks from the bar were not as described on the menu. Luckily the food tasted good and made up for the rest.
