We were on the way back from falling water! Found this little super cute place! You order and they bring it to you! The egg salad sandwich was one of the best I ever had. The Cobb salad was good also. The BLT sandwich was also excellent. The place is just super cute. Really feels like home and the food options do not disappoint. The food is served on boards or cardboard trays. For a little cafe it is an excellent choice. There are many people that know about this place because it’s so good! Come and enjoy!
This beautiful hidden gem was highly recommended to me by a friend who had previously visited Ohiopyle State Park. I am so glad we made the trip! My daughter said the breakfast burrito was the best she had ever had in her life! Our sandwiches and soup were amazing! And our coffees were divine! We're already planning another trip to the area!
What a gem!! We love coffee shops with fun cozy atmospheres.... and a cat!! We ordered a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew, Flat White, and two avocado toasts with gluten free bread. Everything was delicious. There is an adorable cat that lounges around outside looking for snacks and pats 😍 Definitely a must go in the area! Beautiful inside and out.
I’m looking for a good breakfast while camping in the area, we came across Bittersweet Cafe. Wow did we luck out! Love this place! Farm to table food, GREAT food, chill atmosphere, friendly staff, lush gardens!! Say hi to Bob the bobcat!!
I do enjoy this hidden treasure in Farmington. If your in the area you stop. Charming atmosphere indoor and outdoor seating. Great kind of getaway very relaxing. You order at the counter they bring you ur food or drinks. They serve breakfast food as well as lunch. Coffee, teas, smoothies. Owners are local and friendly. Food is very good I got a special chicken spring wrap and mac n cheese, amazing! My friend got a pesto chicken wrap as well very good ad their corn salad she said was amazing.
First time here and it was amazing! We were a group of close to 20 that descended upon a short staffed cafe and they knocked it out of the park! We all loved our food and the service was great despite the two call offs they had. We will be back for sure. Food was great and their t-shirts and merch is super cute and really nice! We will have to go another day when it’s not so busy to buy some hats and t-shirts. We also loved their wall of paying it forward!
We LOVE bittersweet. The food, the atmosphere, the service, all incredible. It is a staple in our trip to Ohiopyle!
The food was excellent! Everyone loved their food. I had the bittersweet burger, without the sauce, and it was incredible! The flavor in the burger was much fuller than I expected. The roll was home made and toasted/heated. It didn't come with any chips or fries. Service was very good and we didn't need to wait long for the food. It's not full table service. They just bring the order to your table. You order at the counter as you would expect at a coffee shop. The atmosphere is excellent! You can choose to sit inside, on the porch, or completely outside. The building is beautiful with flowers and tasteful decorations all over - but it didn't feel like too much.
