This place is not only beautiful inside with all the little high end details from glassware to ceiling tiles, but the cuisine is DELICIOUS! So happy they are in Provo serving brunch, lunch and dinner! The French Onion soup is out of this world flavorful and the staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and kind! Excited to go back for brunch, dinner & cocktails at their beautiful bar area 😊
Bistro Provenance is a French-inspired eatery that provides a high-end dining experience in downtown Provo. The menu features unique entrees perfect for those wanting something different from the big chains.
I had the steak frites (medium well) and enjoyed it. The price is higher than what I felt the value of the meal was, but I wasn't disappointed either. The bordelaise makes the steak, and the frites are excellently seasoned. I recommend ordering the frites as a side if you're a fan of thinner, well-seasoned fries. The crème brûlée was okay. The bread pudding was good, especially if that's a dessert you favor. The service was good and Ana, our waitress, took care of us.
Overall, Bistro Provenance is good, but not great. The prices are a tad high for the value you get, and it doesn't have the "wow" factor I feel is needed from a high-end eatery. However, I appreciate that it's different. It's not a copy/paste of other restaurants, and adds a unique experience to Provo and Utah County. If you want something different and don't have a picky palate, give Bistro Provenance a try.
I was expecting more. Hope this helps you. Almost there really good. Good service. Clean restaurant. Presentation of the food. It was nice. Flavorless food tastes extremely bland. We ordered medium rare steak and we got medium well. The French onion soup okay. You need to caramelize those onions more. The cream of asparagus I can taste the onions. I didn't taste cream. The best part was Dessert! The menu is all over the place. Very disappointed with the Ratatouille. The bone-in chicken was the best dish on the menu. Not for $25. I think this restaurant has potential. You need to adjust your menu and taste your food when you cook it. The chef was offended when we asked some questions.
Bistro Provenance offers a delightful dining experience. The Steak Frites is a standout dish – enjoyable and well-prepared. The atmosphere brings back memories from Paris and I've returned several times, always finding it a pleasant choice.
Food was good but underwhelming for the price. Soup bowl was small and just full of onions and lack of soup. Duck was delicious and tender, but sauce tasted a little too much like orange juice and lack depth.😅 The crispy polenta was good and I would’ve liked more of it! Pasta was fresh but could be more al dente, and the cream was kinda bland. Staff was crisp and professional. Kitchen was clean and bright, and dining area has a nice simple atmosphere. At a quaint part of Provo, the concept has good potential!👌🏼
Oh! My! Goodness! New Favorite Restaurant! This place totally hit the spot for our Anniversary! I hope whoever is cooking stays there.
Better Charcuterie than Wisconsin! Non alcoholic drinks that made me forget I don't drink alcohol! Best scallops I've ever had! (and I've had a lot!)
Orange Duck was also cooked to perfection with a beautiful crispy cap.
Decadent chocolate pot de creme and light and fresh peach almond tart topped off the meal wonderfully.
Sarah was attentive and friendly. She was very knowledgeable and her recommendations were helpful and spot on. She matched our energy making it a great experience.
We will be back!
This place was good, not great. Felt very underwhelming. We got the fries as an appetizer and I was not a fan. Glorified McDonald’s fries. The duck breast entree was good but not something I’d go back for. We were surprised they didn’t offer bread as an included appetizer like most similar places do. Overall everything was fine, I just wasn’t too impressed for the price we paid. I’d be willing to go back and give it another try but won’t be happening anytime soon.
This place is so cute and the service is incredible! The staff were so attentive and helpful with all our questions. I let the chef choose my meal and got the duck. I've never had duck before and I absolutely loved it. I also had the waiter pick some cocktails for me and they were both delicious. It's a pretty far drive for us up in Salt Lake, but we ended up loving it so much that we've decided to make it a monthly occurrence to go. The portions are huge and well worth the price tag. I also recommend the desserts, they were incredible.
Added bonus, it's an open kitchen so you get to watch them all cook which is just really cool. (Plus the chef who picked my dinner was really cute, which has nothing to do with the overall meal, but A+)

Fantastic trail. Super short hike. With lots of stops, it only took me an hour to get to the destination. Definitely worth your time and relatively easy!
This place is so fun! Cory and Alyssa were working the night and went and were so helpful. Cory gave us the rundown on the place and both employees made rounds giving everyone tips on how to hit the target better. After our session we went upstairs a
The road leading up is narrow, but fits two cars and is paved all the way to the lookout. The lookout offers incredible views over the valley and Utah Lake and is amazing at sunset. There is a trail leading south from the overlook along the mountain
Yummm! Actually real Polynesian food! Yes it tastes amazing and YES you need to try it. Lots to eat and get filled up on. Coconut cake is soooo good. The Kalua Chicken, teriyaki chicken, ribsâ¦.. this just melts in your mouth.
It is West of the Pro
Love the Bean Museum! Such beautiful animals. They just opened up the new Utah exhibit too! Last time I was there, they had just begun. I had a fun time going to their opening night event, and won a little prize:
