Hands down, hats off, one of my favorite beaches. Parking is not the best if you go later in the day on the weekends. If you go during the week you have a better chance to always find parking. The beach is shallow, which is perfect for sitting in the water and enjoying the sun rays. I've even seen people with their beach chairs in the water. There have been a few instances (if not all) when there has been a lot of seaweed at the edge, but for the most part, it's clean. The seaweed is usually on the edge of the sand and not in the water. Lost of families and very kid friendly. There's an area that is more dogs than others, but it's not an overwhelming amount of dogs. The times I've been there (many times) I've seen maybe 5 dogs at a time. And mostly small dogs. I usually take a book and lay on my blanket to read. The views are exceptional!! You haven't been to Miami if you haven't seen a sunset here yet.
As a child we used to frequent this beach. You could literally drive your car on the sand and sit in the water just a few feet away. With the popularity and over population of Miami, people are looking for easier alternatives to Miami Beach. The city has vastly improved this area with designated parking spots that are free. Food truck areas and designated walking or biking trails. The quality of the water is not as nice as the open ocean, it is Biscayne Bay. But for those that want to getaway and soak in some rays this is a great place. Views of the Miami skyline are beautiful to look at. Make sure you arrive early or you won’t find parking.
Very nice and relaxing beach! Even though it's dog friendly, I only saw three, well behaved, dogs. Plenty of parking if you're here by 10am, orherwise it can van be difficult to find a spot. Water is very clear, bottom is a mix of sand and grass, but still very nice to relax when you get hot. I will definitely be returning here.
Visiting from PA in January. Loved it. Free parking. Dog friendly. Beautiful skyline. Beautiful sunset. Room to spread out. I stayed in Everglades so this was a day trip for me.
I didn’t realize this was the Biscayne Dog Beach until a couple of dogs came up to share my ice cream cone with me. The dog beach is away from traffic, plenty of shade and sand and of course The Ocean. Water was readily available.
Great place to take your pups. They enjoyed the calm water and warm sand even more than I did. I personally prefer weekdays but Sunday was not so bad. (If you have big, playful dogs just watch out for some small dog owners that are a bit paranoid.)
I made sure to take fresh water, I had them on leashes most of the time but they are well behaved so I would let them swim without holding them back.

Beautiful place to relax, read a book or play a sport. Very well maintained. Restrooms on site. Very clean and stocked. Water fountain for those feeling a bit parched. Benches to sit or toss a blanket under a tree on the nice manicured grass. Lastly,
This is one of the most beautiful beaches weâve ever been to. Definitely top 3. Love all the palm trees and great beach area to walk on. Lots of activities to enjoy and of course seeing the peacocks was a highlight of the trip.
You wouldn't expect to find historic houses in the middle of a 95% water national park but here Stiltsville is! Each house has a unique history that's fascinating to learn about. If you don't have a personal boat, the Biscayne National Park Institute
One of the best beaches near Miami. Perfect for kids and families to spend time together. Shallow waters and clean white sand beach areas are great for toddlers to safely play. The entrance fee to the state park manages the place from becoming super
We have dined at Rusty Pelican several times but most recently we had our wedding reception here one week ago.
We called six months ago and spoke with Gabby Koons, Restaurant Manager (sheâs also in charge of large events) and inquired about having
Fantastic marina and facilities. I would say this is hands down one of the only ramps where it is pressure cleaned monthly on low tide for less incidents and the staff is fantastic. (Follow the rules) and the staff is fantastic. Oh no rentals "fact"
Best Shopping Center on Key Biscayne. Plenty of parking, free valet when busy, friendly people and great shopping and dining. The always helpful and friendly E Realty office and James Salas can be found at unit #49 at the Square.
