Birch Knoll Motel - Motel in Laconia - 867 Weirs Blvd, USA

Great location. Room was clean and the king sized bed was very comfortable. The room was on the upper floor and it was quiet. The sink area is separate from the bathroom/shower which was good, but it was not very spacious. Overall this worked out well for us and we'll return again!

This is the best motel we’ve been to. Our family vacations in the area every year and this is by far our favorite place to stay. We have 2 toddlers and it can be tough to find a location that has all of the accommodations for a good price. The Birch Knoll has it all, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, there’s a pool for the kids/adults to splash around in, a rec room, a grill for the guests, an outdoor patio space to enjoy your meals (or just to relax) and right across the street they have a dock and a nice beach area for their guests. 10/10 recommend this motel. We can’t wait for our vacation next year!

We had a great 3- night stay at Birch Knoll. The location of the property is key- close to every thing in the area. The owner, Janet, was super friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and our room was ready. The a/c unit worked perfectly and kept us cool in the very humid weather. The pool area was very clean. We had fun socializing with others there. Lake access is directly across the street and there is an area reserved for motel guests. The waters of Lake Winnipesaukee are so clean and refreshing. We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed at birch knoll for the Fourth of July and had a great time. The space was beautiful and the room was clean. The pool was nice and clean and the environment was perfect. The best part about the whole thing was the service. Janet was great and we can’t wait to come back again next year. My two young kids and wife loved it. Wish I could give her 10 stars ⭐️

The wife and I decided to take a road trip for our 29th anniversary. We didn’t have any plans or reservations. We headed to New Hampshire and ended up in the Laconia area. I am not normally a fan of motels because of bad past experiences but Lucky for us we found this gem of a motel! Everyone was great the rooms were clean and updated. If you are in the area this is the place to stay! Thanks for the great stay guys.

We just left Birch Knoll today July 13th 2024 and had an amazing time. The sunsets are incredible just as advertised, Janet and Mike are considerate and thoughtful hosts. They offer anything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms are clean, very comfortable AC works great & property is well kept. Nice amenities to include pool, private dock, and beach on Paugus Bay. The value is more than fair, especially for the height of the season. We stayed for 2 weeks, Janet and Mike offered food and sight seeing suggestions all great recommendations, next time we are planning to visit NH this will definitely be a place we would come back to.

This was a great location. The rooms are large, clean and modestly decorated. the bed was comfortable. I thought it was expensive for what it was, but the service was great and everyone was friendly. It was a bit noisy in the mornings. I had a great view. I would not say that this place is handicapped friendly.

Beautiful scenery and a peaceful place but I would not recommend. Although this facility is for registered guests ONLY- after being gone all day at Weirs Beach, coming back for a couple hours to enjoy food w/ 2 others- before leaving for fireworks- I went to show the scenery (for future booking purposes only) and was followed and asked for my company to leave at 6pm. The owner then wanted to assume that because lemonade was poured in a solo cup that it was “alcohol”… How else am I suppose to drink when buying gallons of juice… This place does not need cameras as the owners are the eyes and ears of it and watch your every move. If you’re not a senior// elderly couple just find a different location. Save yourself your money and the embarrassment.
