Love love love Bio life. Always a good experience.
Today however, after starting the process, I put on some sunglasses. Not the first time. Not dark glasses, just tinted. Had a guy come over and demand I remove my glasses.
Not really a big deal, but he obviously missed the training class on customer service.
I’m a customer, he works for me.
Normally I have a great experience, but the screener who checks your vitals is extremely rude. She snaps at everyone who is under her care and made my experience unpleasant. Luckily I the phlebotomist who took my blood was super kind and welcoming. I normally have a great experience but in particular when I see the one screener my experience is unpleasant.
My experiences at Biolife are consistently positive. The staff is friendly and professional. On occasion they are understaffed, but they work hard to process donors quickly. There is some turnover of staff, s be patient as they learn on the job.
When I went in for my first time in years, I had a terrible experience. I didn’t understand the information that was being relayed to me, and instead of being helped I was called a Karen in front of the entire lobby. I was then proceeded the next time to be denied of donating anywhere after my second visit. The second visit did not go well as I was sitting for 10 minutes being explained to the fact that I would not be able to donate.
When I first started going there. It was always disconnect first. I would sit down and they would disconnect 1 to 3 people before they hooked me up. It has become inconsistent. Now my finish alarm will go off and they connect 1 or 2 people before they disconnect, and I sit with a needle in my arm for up to 25 minutes. To improve your center make signs. "FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE" OR "WE ALWAYS DISCONNECT FIRST" Make it consistent so donors do not feel like they are being ignored are in different preferred classes.
Everyone is always friendly and professional.
One thing though, I thought Donner's weren't supposed to talk on their phones or watch videos without headphones. Very annoying! But, Maybe that has changed.
Christina is an absolute ALL STAR, every single time my experience has been amazing with her as my phlebotomist
Horrible place. Staff is very rude and take FOREVER. Nurse took me in a closed office for a "non-evasive" exam. Why did she have to spend 5 minutes examining my testicles for me to give blood? That's non-evasive?
This place is amazing!
A HUGE selection of chocolates, candies and fudge.
They have samples for almost everything, which I found super helpful in picking my favorites to purchase.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Overall a great experience!
