Binns Motor Inn - Motel in Wildwood - 3900 Atlantic Ave, USA

After reading a lot of reviews, I was really nervous about staying here. However, it really wasn't as bad as the reviews make it seem. Check in was quick, front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean, you could smell the cleaning products. What I will say about the room, is that it's very outdated, and it was painted by someone with a lack of painting skills. That being said, those are issues that are easily overlooked when you consider the price point as well as location. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. Unless you're planning on spending your beach vacation inside your hotel room, I would recommend this place.

The motel has been there for so long, and it really is a disgusting place to stay. We had to stay there for 1 night. I understand that they are putting another Motel, and hopefully , it will be a lot better. It was so gross , my dog didn't want to stay there.

Unclean, rundown, and not worth the price at all. I've been in way better motels for a much, much lower price. This place is extremely small, outdated, and dirty. The bedding had sand/dirt all in and on it. The room was very poorly painted with random wires coming out of the walls, cracks in the doorframes and baseboards, and holes and stains on the walls, ceilings, and floors. I'll be surprised if it doesn't have bed bugs. You can also hear everything the other guests are doing through the old doors and walls. The *only* good thing about this place is the distance from the boardwalk.

The reviews definitely scared us but it was fine for a one night stay. The tv was fuzzy but got the channels we needed the faucet of the tub was left on and wouldn’t turn off which made rust marks. Overall 3 star perfect stay for one night. People need to relax and stop acting like they stay in the room all the time at the beach.

The place definitely needs an upgrade all around... I wasn't expecting fancy by any means, but certainly would have appreciated functional plumbing in the room. Toilet wasn't steady, fixtures remind you of being in an outhouse, and there was NO hot water in the shower. Very narrow hallways, not handicapped accessible, and in need of repair and locks. Several doors to access various areas of the building depending on where your room is, but, to only be secured by a key to a bedroom door knob lock?? Tried to plug in a phone charger and the outlet arced, there was a light switch that appeared to be attached to nothing- it was to the outlet behind the TV and be lucky if you got any channels on it. Clearly posted at the front desk, there are no refunds, for anything. And the management isn't responsible for faulty cable as well. Never before have I had to inspect a room so closely just for my own health and safety. And, good luck finding the holder for the toilet paper roll in your bathroom, it's hidden under the sink. Air conditioner never cooled down the room. Overpriced for my 3 night stay. VERY SMALL parking lot for the hotel, had to have my sister make sure I could get by the other cars when we left. The pros: two swimming pools, a rooftop deck for the motel side of it, an outdoor shower if needed, and the distance from the boardwalk is a very convenient and short two blocks or so. If you're going to Wildwood to be at the shore, it's great, but not so much the more time that you spend inside of the place.

Me and my boyfriend just stayed there and paid an astronomical amount for what we got! The room was so small, no TV, nothing to put clothes in , no bureaus, all the doors to the rooms were old , they made so much noise , you could hear everyone opening their doors all night , i couldn’t sleep at all ! The parking was terrible, no room at all , the pool was ok, but the ladder in the deep end had a missing step which was dangerous, the refrigerator in the room wasn’t that cold and the shower really didn’t have hot water ! The only positive was that it was close to the boardwalk !

We ended up checking out early because we pulled back the covers and found bed bugs. we went down to the front desk to let them know and they told us we’d hear from the manager the next day. We’ve been calling for two days now and haven’t received any word from the manager. Really disappointed considering I’ve stayed her many times in the past. Between the bed bugs and lack of communication from the staff, never staying again. Unless you wanna sleep with the bed bugs too I’d go elsewhere. I have videos of two more crawling in the bed that it won’t let me upload if anyone needs more proof as well as the bite marks on my cousins leg.

This hotel needs extreme deep cleaning. We did not want to even sleep here but because of the price we paid and no refunds we did. Albeit very cautiously!!!. The a/c didn't work the first night. My husband slept in his lawn chair by our car it was so hot in the room. We did tell the front desk but after 3 hours and no maintenance coming to room he complained again. They walked in our room at midnight. Said it should cool down in about an hour. In the am we called again and this time got a new a/c unit. The TV remote only worked by figuring out the combination of buttons to press to change channels. The bathroom drain are disgusting and tub fills up 3 4 of the way before it starts to drain. Carpets on stairways and hallways are disgusting. We will definitely never be returning . Oh and did I mention that our key to our room also unlocked my son's room across the hall!!!!
