Had a great breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The coffee was hot and the cup was kept topped off. The food was hot and fresh and delicious. It had the feel of an old school cafe that you felt like a regular at even on your first visit.
Billy's Cafe is a great breakfast spot and my personal favorite in Omaha. Service and food are always great. I always get the blue short stack pancakes. Coffee is plentiful. Prices are some of the best you'll ever see.
They are cash or local check only so be prepared.
Got the Billy’s combo - hearty portions & a great value! Good, quick service. Coffee is definitely diner coffee, but otherwise food was good and left satisfied.
Maybe it was a bad day, but the food took a very long time and the omelet tasted terrible. The hash browns were floating in oil. The coffee was nothing to brag about. I would not recommend!
Note: This location does not serve lunch on the weekends. Good quiet atmosphere, service, but not great food. Surprisingly bland. The waitress was rude, but got the job done well.

Not the best... Food was not as good as what comes out of my kitchen. Server added 'fresh hot water' to my hot tea making it very weak, and the silverware was dirty. Kudos to the busser though, she was very attentive and friendly.
