BillowHouse Oceanfront Motel and Guesthouse - Motel in Ocean Park - 2 Temple Ave, USA

I can not say enough about how special this place is. I have been vacationing in Ocean Park for 40+ years and the Billowhouse is my absolute favorite place to stay. Judi is always so helpful and welcoming. It is like coming home for me. The views are spectacular and the rooms are always clean and so homey. We just returned from another lovely 3 night stay and can't wait to get back soon. Thank you Judi and Billowhouse for more great memories. :) Jim & Christine McKinney

Really awesome environment, like a small village with places to eat, pick up sundries, even attend yoga and games. The room at Billow House was very nice and we will go back next year! As far as staff, the owner is amazing and it was super nice to have so many more amenities than we've had in the past at other places on OOB! For example, cookies every day. Room service (cleaning) every day. There were games, DVDs, beach towels, umbrellas, beach chairs, and much more, which is NOT a feature of most places on OOB. It was nice to have the option of cooking and keeping our food in the "full size" (3/4 maybe) refrigerator. I dropped a star because of the stove options. In our suite, the 2 burners were super slow to heat up (at first I thought one was broken) but I am using an induction stove at home so my expectations may be higher than some. The "oven" was a toaster oven on the cheap end so if you are planning to cook all of your meals you might want to look at the other options at the motel, some of which have better facilities. Overall love the place and would recommend it!

We have been staying for a week in BillowHouse every year (except during Covid) for 15 years. We have absolutely loved every visit. The staff (and incidentally the guests) are friendly and helpful. The beach is a 30 second walk away. (Well, maybe one minute for an old couple like us.) Suites are beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. We love BillowHouse!

The host Judy is fantastic, friendly and hepfull. The studios are cosy and very clean. They provide you with all products necessary for the shower and the kitchen. Every thing is just perfect. The view on the ocean is simply gorgeous!

I’ve stayed at the Billowhouse many times in various rooms and had wonderful times. This time, however, I rented the Dune apartment for my son and his wife and three children, ages 10, 8, and 4, for a full week. It was advertised for up to six people with large living area, which it was not. Very tight and closed in accommodations with very, very low ceilings. The Billowhouse is lovely and right on ocean but I would not recommend the Dune apartment for more than maybe two short adults and a baby.

You are always warmly welcomed - like a returning family member. Rooms are clean and comfortable and many recently renovated. All have kitchens. The view of the ocean and sunrise is often spectacular. The beach is clean and easily accessible- even for the handicapped. Deli, ice cream shop and market within a block.

What a wonderful place. We loved our stay at Billowhouse. They have truly thought of everything one needs to enjoy a few days or much longer at this very convenient place easy steps from the beach. Beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys, bikes and wave boards would be a short list of things you don’t need to pack. |We’re already planning our next visit. |And Judy is amazing 💕

We fell in love with the Billow House the first time Bill took us for a tour of the place 26 yrs. ago and it has been the ONLY place we have stayed ever since. It is now our "home away from home". The rooms are very well decorated and immaculately clean, the people there are wonderful and will go above and beyond to make your stay an enjoyable one. With the ocean right in your back yard, the views are phenomenal. Just a wonderful, wonderful place to go! It truly is a little bit of heaven on earth.
