OMG, New Iberia, LA and diet is a myth, the food is so good in this place (Cafeteria style), and the have different items during the week (call ahead to ask about their special).
Ok, Crawfish etouffee was spot on (I’ll be back for more). The boudin was delicious regular or crawfish (I’ve tried both and the regular is on the spicy side).
Coleslaw was good and the peach cobbler was really good.
Pork Cracklings are famous there as well (try them).
It’s connected to the gas station and they close by 2 pm and reopen at 6 am except on Sundays.
Easy in and out, drive thru, check FB for menu, and let Gypsy greet you with a smile and take your order! She was really nice! Plenty parking and easy off and on Hwy 90! Go check them out! Btw, get your boudin and hot dogs here too!! 💯👍

Their food is always fresh. With that amazing home cooked taste. Their desserts are awesome. I absolutely love their cobblers.

Last time I’m going there. I was always a regular customer always got what I’ve ordered but today I call in to place an order. I tell her what I wanted . Get to the window 15 minutes later and they fix my food and no dessert like I asked for and paid for. I ask if they were going to discount the plate a little, no sir we cannot discount. I still had to pay the $14.50 for shrimp stew , ice cold potato salad, and no dessert. Never again . Everyone else can have it.

I hadn't been there for breakfast since before covid so I ordered my usual and when I drove off I realized I got tater tots instead of potatoes. I'm not sure if that was a mistake or if that's what they consider potatoes now. It was disappointing .
It's gotten to where the food is way to spicy. I use to love coming here but now I can't eat the food cause its to spicy
