Big Twin Lake Resort - Campground in Winthrop - 210 Twin Lakes Rd, USA

Great family campsite! There was a small playground for our toddler, the older kids enjoyed lawn games on the huge field. Campsites were spacious. We enjoyed renting a peddle boat and checking out the ducks and birds in the lake too! We would definitely book here again!

Nice campground but quiet hours aren’t enforced so our neighbors music played well into the night. Opposite of relaxing.

We spent 4 days here and had a GREAT TIME. We talked to many of the other campers. A lot of them has been coming here for many years. The camp ground is family owned and operated by the nicest people you will ever meet. The camp ground is kept neat and clean. The bathrooms were cleaned and well stocked many times a day. This is now going to be our go to stop when we are going to be in the Winthrop area. Thanks for a great weekend Your new camper family Arnie and Julie Faulkner

We camped in a tent. Rented paddle boat for a lake paddle with 3 kids, they had fun on the lake and making smores around the campfire.

Beautiful spots to camp for rv or tent, spaces are very spacious. Cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in a campground, offers showers and also had water and firewood on hand. Various water spickets throughout the grounds, I felt very safe. Loved seeing the stars so clearly, the staff on grounds were very courteous and friendly. I love how welcome our dog was, total recommend

We read the reviews and they sounded horrible. We were desperate to get out and go camping though. So we decided to take our chances on the big twin lake. Boy oh boy am I glad we did. The reviews were all lies. I heard not 1 single frog, the bathrooms were always clean and stocked with toilet paper and paper towels as well as a nice smelling hand soap. There is a very clean playground that our daughter loved to visit often. The staff are wonderful. We will be back to this campground in august and enjoy another 4 or 5 days. We read various reviews of this campground prior to staying there. First, it is not what many RV'ers are looking for if they are looking for an "RV resort." It's kind of a combination of a family campground, including tent and small RV non-hookup spaces; and partial or full RV spaces. A great fishing dock, boats, kayaks, etc. to rent, on a good fishing lake. Only a few minutes from Winthrop, a few more minutes to Twisp. The bathrooms and showers are pretty basic, but useable and clean (but only one shower each for men or women). The camp host, Nick, was very friendly and accommodating, and we really appreciated that. Some of the older reviews of this park have indicated that might not have been the case with other managers. We have a very positive experience, and will be back. Only had 2 days this time; wish it had been longer. Stayed in September, and I am sure this is the quiet time of the year. It might be a little more crowded and hectic in the summer months - some of the spaces are close together. We had a great time. Free WiFi, and it was fairly fast. Verizon cell service ok.

It was my first time at this place and it was really nice. The views from every tent spot are great. IT has a small kids park play area and the full hook up spots are nice as well. I saw larger group spots as well.||It is on a small lake and some marsh is in front of the tent camp spots with large wheeping willow trees for shade. The spots are close together but still, really nice. They are all grass spots which is really great. The spots are all clean when I was there.||The only reason I do not give the place a 5 star is because of the bathrooms. They really need to clean them daily. I had to pay for my shower ($1 for 5min), which is ok but I don't want to have to clean the toilets and sinks before using them. I loved the fact there were small frogs coming out at night to line the windows eating flies and mosquitoes, but I did not love all the lack of cleanliness from the family run staff. They were extremely pleasant but just did not clean the one bathroom facility in the time I was there. Unfortunate.
