I had the nachos ! They were delicious. My date pork and fish tacos. The margaritas looked refreshing, but we didn’t order any. The drink menu was a little steep, but it’s expected bc of the area. Oan get the Guac you won’t be disappointed. Service was fast and friendly. We went on a game day around 3pm.

This place used to be amazing. We used to come all the time in the summer for nachos and margarita pitchers. However, we moved a bit further away and so relied on takeout. Each time we place an order, they only get it mostly right. Each one will be missing the extra cheese or a taco or some other part of the order. It's never everything we paid for. Additionally, despite IL passing a law to the contrary, they always include napkins and silverware even though we never indicate that they're needed.

Great eclectic place for food and drinks. Food is Mexican themed with a big selection of street style tacos. My favorite is the pork belly taco. Guacamole and Chips is a must order. Spicy here is spicy, which I appreciate. They have a wide selection of whiskeys and bourbon, along with your normal go-to drinks. Music by record player is also a nice touch. Located right across from Wrigley Field.

My friend and I had an absolutely awesome time here. Great location with an amazing atmosphere. Truly a classic Chicago sports bar to enjoy the city from! Our hostess/server Bella was very attentive and incredibly helpful in picking the best food on the menu, and she made our experience that much better! The food can be a bit pricey, but I promise you it’s worth it (the fish tacos are to DIE for).

We really enjoyed our visit to Big Star. Tried different tequilas and mezcal. We also tried the nachos with pork shoulder and elote. Delicious! The bartenders were great. Good conversation and an awesome vinyl collection (they played entire albums!) Really cool scene. Thanks for having us!

Went on a Tuesday night (July 5th) around 9 and the place was pretty empty- but it shouldn’t be an excuse for what happened next. The seating staff is friendly but the one that attended me never asked how were things going and other staff were just playing their phones. Speaking of the food, I went there many times and the quality of the food declined to a level that I think there was something going on in the kitchen. Al pastor came with the pork that was dry and obviously overcooked, meaning not juicy at all. Fish taco, same thing, the frying powder outside the fish has a larger size than the fish itself. The only thing good is the sauce of the shrimp taco, quite refreshing. The drink isn’t impressive either. The most disappointing part is that the place used to be such a good place with good food, staff and vibe, just not any more.

Had an excellent time here! The host staff was super friendly, the wait staff was great, the tacos were very tasty (best pollo taco I’ve ever had). We also got the mango margarita pitcher and it was very good. 10/10 will be going again!

Nice fun bar right in front of Wrigley field. I was there on a Tuesday night in February with no baseball but the place was somewhat crowded. Staff is friendly and the tacos are good. Great place for beers/cocktails and a quick bite. Fun!
