The spring isn’t really big but it is a nice park. There is a playground for kids and lots of pretty flowers to see. There is also a small trout tank area across the street.
Beautiful park. I'm not sure if it's allowed but would be great place for the kids to play in the water on a hot day. There is a machine fish food pellets to feed the fish for a quarter. Interesting place/history.
Really nice park! Hiking trails, natural springs, caves, kids swimming pool, playground, restrooms, picnic tables, stage and lots of flora and fauna. Really close to downtown area which has several local restaurants, bars and gift shops. Worth an afternoon trip from Northwest Arkansas. Recommend!
Hubby and I went to Big Springs Park today. A quaint peaceful little falls tucked away in Neosho, MO. Perfect day for a visit! Temperatures in the late 70s , the grass was lush and green and we met the friendliest duck that seemed to like posing for pics and snacks! There were all ages there visiting. One lady with her son and leashed little poodle exploring and taking in the scenery. I noticed the well thought out playgrounds, restroom facilities and benches and picnic tables to relax or have a bite. It was on the smaller side for a waterfall but it's a clean and well maintained little spring I was happy to check off my bucket list!
Its always fun to feed th fish and we found baby ducks this trip so that was a plus. Dont understand why teenagers feel they need to chase ducks even when the parents are just sitting there watching them do it. Some one tried to jimmy the fish food like a quarter to much to ask for the food. Some people have to ruin stuff for others.
This is a very very nice park!! Especially for kids they have a wading pool that is open to the public but really only for children!! There is a beautiful waterfall and the big spring cave!! There is also a playground right next to the wading pool! I definitely recommend very scenic and family friendly!!
Very nice park. Small with a big presence. The falls are very nice and there are duck families and koi there you can watch and feed. Quite a nice fixture in an unassuming place!
This was my second time visiting this park and it's just as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer. I love the waterfall and the crystal clear spring that runs through it. I also enjoy watching the trout and ducks.
