Big Shots Restaurant & Lounge - Sports bar in Iselin - 780 US-1, USA

Stopped here to watch the 49ers game downstairs, which has terrible acoustics. TVs were great but the speakers were up too high - my ears were ringing. Need more servers downstairs during the games, but the food was really delicious! The place was packed with NFL fans and the music was good, too. Nice spot for a Sunday. Bravo on the football specials! Would definitely consider coming back if we had our own spot to watch the game with our group. Also, parking here is pretty awful. Go, Niners!

Been here a few times and every time was a different experience. The music is always on point but their drinks and food is a bit pricey. Standing in the middle of the main floor waiting for the bathroom is tacky and I don't like how we're not able to exit without having to pay entrance fees each time. Not sure if that's every night or if those rules were just for the night I was there but that's ridiculous. I enjoyed the outside patio more than anything! Maybe y'all should give wrist bands or something if that no exit rule is standard. Just a suggestion.

I give this place such a low score because both times I tried to get in, I was denied at the door. It's listed as a sports bar/ restaurant. Since when do you need a dress code to go eat and watch sports? I was on the dj list the first time and was met with immediate dismissal at the door. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

This place is different. This place is best described as sports bar meets night club, multiple rooms to traverse and an array of food coming out of the kitchen. You'll enjoy the vibe with a good mix of ladies and gentlemen.

This place has an urban club vibe. Went in to watch an NFL game on a Saturday night, and there was a DJ there chatting and making comments during the game. Stayed at the main bar as soon as you walk in. Lots of tv’s but too many small screens, that was odd. We didn’t eat, only had a couple of beers, served by very friendly bar staff, a plus. Sorry to say, plastic pint glasses kinda’ cheapen the place. Overall, it was ok.

Had the wings and they were okay. And had the garlic parm fries. The fries didn't come out on time and were very oily. I came with a friend and just wanted to hang out later so that's how we chose Big Shots.The internet said 1am was closing time but then the lights brightened at 12:13am and we were kicked out at 12:30am by a rude staff telling us we had to leave. When we explained that we were under the impression closing time was at 1am as the internet stated, the rude staff cut us off saying we should've understood they were closing when the lights came on just like everyone else. We asked how were we supposed to know if no one says last call or announces the closing time as being different then advertised. She just stated they close earlier when no one else is there, forgetting that we were sitting at the bar talking. This service and attitude left a nasty taste and an unwelcome feeling for a newcomer looking to vibe for the night.

The bartenders are great . I love the vibe . There was one bartender on a football sunday.... I didnt get her name .... she was a brunette in a Dallas jersey...she was rude . She obviously doesn't blend with the rest of the bartenders. They are great with making drinks and making sure every one is enjoying themselves
