Big Sandy Superstore - Furniture store in Columbus - 1180 Polaris Pkwy, USA

Bought a refrigerator from Big Sandy and found a scratch on the handle. Set up an appointment to get a new handle and got a 9am to 1pm window for service. Waited all morning and finally arrived at 1:30. Took the new handle out of the box and it was the wrong make. My refrigerator is black stainless and the handle was regular stainless. Now have to wait for new handle to be ordered and set up a new time for install, taking another half of my day. Really like my refrigerator but not the service department.

My Experience was amazing! Katlin was so helpful and she went way out of her way to help me find the last pieces I needed for my living room. I’ve been searching and stressing for a month. 8 different furniture stores multiple times and online constantly trying to find the perfect coffee table and Accent table. She helped with the vision and got me set. So relieved! Not to mention she came in on her day off to make sure I was situated and put my order in. Thanks again! The whole process at the store level was fantastic. Robert was great, 5 stars to him. Big Sandy Superstore is great. Robert worked with us and gave us all the discounts he could. He took my calls and texts and never let me down. We bought three households worth of furniture for our rental business, I get it, it was confusing. The delivery team was the problem. (UPDATE ….. September 22nd, the store contacted me and returned my delivery fee. They are working with the delivery manager to correct the problem with the delivery team) The first delivery on August 9th, The feet of the pieces of furniture were placed but all of the screws on all of the feet of the sofas ands chairs were missing. We had to spend hours shopping for hardware and replacing the screws. We had to flip over all of the pieces and finish the work for them. Two couches, 4 chairs and two ottomans. The dinettes also were missing screws in the chairs. On the second delivery on Sept. 19th, it gets worse! The delivery was made to the wrong address! The delivery guy dropped off the two sofas and two chairs to the wrong house, another cabin we have near by, and to a 13 year old kid! They asked him if was expecting a delivery, he said “ IDK” and they left the sofa and chairs on a deck. They didn’t sign off, they did not ask the name, they just left them outside on a deck. It could have been a strangers house!! No set up and they left. We tried to call after we discovered the mistake and waiting at the correct address, the delivery driver refused to come back and deliver to the correct house and still they are not put together. We ended up moving them to the correct house ourselves, but so much for White glove delivery and set up. I would like my delivery fees returned if possible. ( manager returned my fees)

I have been working for weeks to get ready to move into my apartment and wanted to get everything I needed in the smoothest way possible. Went to Big Sandy and had the pleasure of meeting Robert Young. Mr. Young was very kind, courteous and professional. He showed me all options available to my budget and provided excellent customer service. I had to wait 3 weeks before I could actually make my purchase. Robert was kind enough to leave contact info so I could continue my experience with him. As of yesterday I have completed my furniture shopping with Robert and ended getting a better deal than before. I again was very appreciative of Robert's time and customer service and I recommend anyone who goes to this location to speak with Robert Young because he will get you taken care of!! Cameron S.

I had a very good experience with Big Sandy. I had been looking at items online so I knew what I wanted. The salesperson Robert, helped me make the best decision by providing measurements and walking me through the pricing, etc. I was impressed that the "sale" price was until they run out of stock. Lastly, I was most impressed that Robert heard me when I said I'm concerned the ottoman maybe to big in the space. He said no problem, if its too big just have the delivery person put back on the truck and we will credit your account. He even noted this on the delivery paperwork - now THATS customer service! Looking forward to delivery next week.

We worked with David Bodie to find a new dishwasher. His knowledge, professionalism and customer service was first class. David only showed us products that fit our needs and budget. I would highly recommend asking for David when you go to the Big Sandy Superstore on Polaris Parkway.

Following my previous review detailing the myriad issues, I am pleased to report that Big Sandy Appliances responded promptly and replaced the incorrectly sized hood extension and the wrong type of microwave with the correct models. This proactive step in addressing the specific issues mentioned in my initial critique is commendable and deserves recognition. The replacements have brought a degree of resolution to the situation. The correct hood extension and microwave models have been installed, alleviating the concerns about ceiling height and appliance compatibility. This not only demonstrates responsiveness on the part of Big Sandy Appliances but also goes a long way in rectifying the initial missteps that marred my overall experience. In light of these positive steps, I am revising my rating to four stars. The willingness of Big Sandy Appliances to take corrective action demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction. Chris and Robert were great!! They helped me pick out appliances and furniture made sure I found what I loved! Chris even helped me pick out my couch, even though he was from appliances. 😂🤣 Both of them were the best!!! Thank you…. There was no confusion, they both helped me pick out the couch after I got done buying. He went the extra mile to help me because I told him I was having trouble deciding and asked for his opinion! They both were amazing!
