It's a great park with some nice walking trails. There's signage near trees that give you information about the plants and stuff but the park is very poorly maintained. Lots of choking vines killing trees. I think the park could use someone to maintain it, but in the past most of the improvements have come from grants and private donations from local people and companies. I love the place and highly recommend it to everybody
Quick hike to the rock, my pregnant self and three year old were able to get to the rock in the rain easily. We did make a wrong turn at second bridge. Follow the yellow trail markings as best you can. Daughter enjoyed the educational flaps showing the types of trees.
Wel groomed 83 acre park with hiking trails. The big walk is just a short distance from the parking area.
Absolutely love this place it’s so beautiful and peaceful!
The park is great since the city allowed a disc golf course to be put it. Beware, the course is VERY difficult, but well worth the adventure. The course is not quite finished but there are 10 holes in. Hole 5 is a monster due to overgrowth, but will be cleaned up 6/29.
Awesome trails tucked away in Pella IA.
Big Rock Park is such a hidden gem in Pella! Such a fun, easy place to hike, geocache, picnic, and enjoy nature! There is a partial disc golf course if you prefer as well. Just a great fall ready to spend a day here!!
Beautiful gem! Once we figured out trailmarkings, it was better. Lots of side trails unmarked, but we found our way. Came up on buck, doe and three babies. Will go back again.
We love to visit Central Park and see all of the Tulips in the summer and the Thursday Nights in Pella are always a great time with all of the demonstrationâs, food vendors and farmers market!
The bread Board is amazing!!! We love the atmosphere and their bread is always the best we have ever had! On Saturdays they make bagels that are better than New York bagels and if you donât go early⦠they will be gone.
Coffee was yummy and the customer service was great! I ordered a complicated coffee and they were very kind and helpful with it. Cost wasnât too bad either. The store was very cute too!
Very cool spot to stop for a cold beverage. I am not a beer fan.....sorry to day. BUT, there are SO many choices, even I was able to find something I really enjoyed! You can sample some to find what you may like. I ended up with 'I don't feel t
I LOVED this place! We came during the off season, so it was very calm with only a few other people there. The staff were informative and kind. Our guide for the windmill was awesome! I wish I could remember his name so I could name him personally in

We chose to have a non traditional wedding reception at Smash Park and had the best time! So many of our friends and family have young kids, so we wanted to make sure our reception was welcoming for those of all ages! Our dynamic group of friends al
