Had a food truck event at our college and decided to try their poke bowl. Was very disappointed in serving size considering the 17$ price tag with tip (felt forced to tip when using card as the girl is blatantly staring at you while you process payment). The rice isn’t even sushi rice it was basmati, it was served hot with cold tuna chunks which inevitably made the sushi itself warm (not a pleasant experience). The tuna itself was very tough to eat, and I love sushi. Very poor quality as there was quite a few pieces with inedible silver skin. Was very disappointed in the food truck, maybe store itself is better quality but would not get again.
I recently went to the Big Island Bowls in Tioga and got an Açaí Bowl and it was delicious! The customer service was exceptional and the store was so cute, a very warm and friendly environment! I’ve been to many other Açaí places in Gainesville and this was by far the best portions and freshest ingredients! 10/10 highly recommended!!
Worst employer experience of my life. Food is mediocre and the atmosphere is unbearably unpleasant, as a customer and as an employee. I have never felt more unwelcome. Editing to add RUSH BOWLS has amazing açaí options!
Horrible.. tuna was smelly and they tried covering everything up in an excessive amount of sauce.
I got this açaí bowl as part of an event at UF. I’m not a big açaí person in the slightest but i truthfully did really enjoy the açaí. This was being pumped out of a truck and was still good so i bet the restaurant is even better. The fruit was all fresh and cold and the berry mix itself was quite flavorful. I would never myself be here but compared to other açaí bowls i’ve had, this one was amazing! I have no clue the price or size of a normal bowl but if you’re looking for açaí, i’d recommend big island bowls based on this experience.
It was my time here. I've ordered the teriyaki poke bowl and it was delicious! But I wish that they served with Japanese rice instead of jasmine rice. The price was a little too high compared to Bento. Overall it was good!
Echoing other reviews left recently- the quality in food has unfortunately really gone down. They used to be my favorite place for acai bowls but after my last few experiences I will have to find somewhere else. Acai is icy and lacks any flavor, the toppings were stale, and fruit was overly ripe to the point it tasted fermented. Really unfortunate. I hope they’re able to get their quality control sorted.
Fresh ingredients, fast and tasty. I got the Waterman Bowl and added Banana. The ladies that were working were competent and kind. I can't speak to anything else on their menu but the acai bowls are amazing!

Great small state park. Enjoyable for younger children. The walking trail is a short loop that can be done quickly. Nice clean restrooms and the staff is always friendly.
We visited this place last Tuesday, 5 star for their drinks and bartender.. loved their drinks.. donât forget to try bramble. They have tequila Tuesday specials and whiskey Wednesday specials( good deals). Bar tender was super cool that she made us
First time eating here and food was pretty good. The only thing that was not acceptable was my fries. They "looked good" but we're cold and stale as if they had been sitting awhile. The Monkey's Reuben Sandwich was ð yummy and fish tacos were ok.
