Amazing service! We enjoyed the calamari and our “By Yourself” seafood platter. Cocktails drinks are an issue..picking which one you want because the ones we did try were amazing. All around great! Pricey but I say it’s a win because between my son and fiance, it’s hard to get them full.

A happy find near NOLA airport. Great friendly service from Amie, our server. We each started with a dozen fat meaty oysters on the halfshell. I had the shrimp and fish battered and fried perfectly arrived piping hot with the spicy house dipping sauce. Po- boys of my lunch mates were huge with shrimp and oysters fully dressed on the classic po-boy crusty bread, fries, and gumbo. What more could you need after getting the plane?

Always enjoy our dine in meals or takeout. Big EZ is located right off of Williams Boulevard, not far from 1-10 or most area hotels in Kenner. It's a colorful place, with dining room selections such as The LSU Room (my personal favorite), Saints Room, Crab Room, and the Crawfish Room. The bright paintings are lively and add a great Louisiana vibe – those things we love dearly: LSU, the Saints, and seafood! The food is excellent. Customer service is outstanding. You're greeted at the door by a hostess that seats you. Again, I usually ask to be seated in the LSU Room if tables aren't full. I'm an LSU girl and enjoy the Joe Burrow/Coach O depictions. Servers are knowledgeable about menu and drinks and offer great selections if you're unsure of what to order. For starters, I recommend the charbroiled oysters, the dirty fries and the crab cakes . Can't go wrong with either one. Oysters are heavenly! Add blackened shrimp to the Dirty Fries and your taste buds will thank you. The po boys are wonderful & are available in half or whole size. The shrimp are loaded between French bread, tomatoes, pickles, and a delicious spicy mayo. The mayo is a treat in itself. The fried alligator is great, too. I haven't ordered one bad thing here. Naturally, any of the boiled seafood selections goes down well. The drink menu works, too! I prefer Stella Artois with my po boy and I love the large frozen drinks. It's a fun place with large screen tvs in every room. For the sports fanatic who'd rather watch the game with a beer or two, the Big EZ has a full service bar with tvs in every direction. The beers are cold and the games are always on. Get yourself to the Big EZ. We eat here often — dine in or take-out. Parking lot is small, but you can easily park across the street. Free parking. Laissez les bon Temps Rouler. Geaux Tigers!!

We have been here twice, both times our servers were really great. The place has been mostly empty both times. The food both times have been really great. Fried food is fried to perfection. I did not personally try boiled seafood, but people at our table did and were happy with it. The only complaint I have is that they charge you for extra sauce, which I think is crazy at a seafood restaurant. And they do not let you substitute anything. My daughter orders wings no matter where we go with sauce on the side. They told her that no, they did not put the sauce on the side she had to pick one to toss them in. She ate because she was hungry but didn't really like the sauce.

We flew into MSY and immediately had to drive to Houston. We wanted a local place for a quick meal and Big EZ was close by. We were not disappointed. In any other city, the food here would easily be 5+ stars. Being New Orleans, however, there's a steep curve and the standards are insanely high. I can totally see local families coming here for the crab boil when they don't have the time and energy to do it themselves, but it didn't quite rise to the level of a place I'd make a special trip to the city to visit, and there are quite a few restaurants like that in NOLA. That said, the shrimp gumbo and the oyster po boy hit the spot and were just what we were looking for. I could only dream of having a place like this back in Virginia. This place is beautiful inside and the walls in every room sported dramatic murals on local themes (Saints, Tigers, crab boil, etc.). This would be a great place to come with a large group or family for a relaxed and joyful gathering. The staff were super friendly and had a very welcoming vibe. It's definitely a place that lives up to its name.

My first crawfish experience. The waiter actually taught me how to peel them. Spice heat was just right. We also ordered the fried shrimp, which was good. The only reason for the 4 star v. 5 star was that our margaritas were served in a sealed plastic cup 🥤 which I thought was strange.

Met family here for dinner. I had questions the seafood gumbo, blackened salmon and amazing bread pudding. Our server Kai was awesome! She was very patient, professional and helpful with our large group. She is why I rate this place 5 stars!

I had the half and half basket catfish/ shrimp w hush puppies. I also had had the appraiser of shoestring onion rings. It was all very good but I really loved the onion rings. Service was great.
