Loved the food and the menu! They do a great job a putting a spin on your typical burger. We ordered the “It Was All A Dream”, which was a medium rare steak that was sooo tender🤤 and “The Debate” which was a sweet and crispy chicken sandwich. We also ordered a side of fries, which were perfectly fried and seasoned. My suggestion is to ask the for a side of their curry ketchup for the fries.

Amazing atmosphere with music that is a great Throw back to 90s music scene. Food is 🔥🔥🔥. We had the special, the it was just a dream. and the C.R.E.A.M sandwiches and they were BOMB. The cost reflects the quality of the ingredients. AND was talking with the owner who said most of the ingredients are locally sourced from other local companies. Great way to treat your taste buds while supporting local

“Big E. This place is such a cute small place and it’s on grand Ave. the food is a little expensive but it is worth it. I got the dark side of the moon with a side of hash browns which they were perfectly cooked. The sandwich was huge and I was delighted with the size. The sandwich was a little salty from the meat but the egg 😩😩 the egg popped and it leaked and it was a good sunny side up egg. I love runny eggs. I also got a kombucha which was fizzy and delicious. The kombucha was $8 but it was great. The server was a very nice fella. Overall I rate it a 8/10 the bathrooms was a little dirty and sticky on the ground.”

I watched a worker with a blue and grey hat and tattoos on his neck and hands refill condiments and touch the checkout screen and then go make sandwiches and touch pickles and put them on the sandwiches as well as hold the bread buns with his hands to put sauces on without washing his hands or wearing gloves. He also emptied the garbages and then went and refilled the sauces where they make the sandwiches without washing his hands (their sink is by the door to the back room). The sandwiches are good but but it's hard for me to give a 5 when I forced myself to eat mine knowing he touched and made my sandwich without washing his hands after taking our money and handling public items at the public condiment table.

Petite place, service was good-fast. Burgers were amazing. A bit pricy, both my son and I, total came up to $52. I wish the location was closer to the cities, but it was worth it.

Big E has some of the best and unique burgers in Minnesota. All of the burgers have egg in them and it really adds to the flavor. I ordered the Rocket Man (beef and bacon) and the C.R.E.A.M. (Smoked salmon and cream cheese). The Rocket man is a house special and I can see why with its savory goodness. I think the C.R.E.A.M. Might be my future go to. I loved the smoked salmon combo with sliced boiled eggs. The crew was friendly and the atmosphere was chill (great music playing)! I will be stopping in again so I can work my way through the entire menu!

Love the atmosphere and very kind workers! Both ample indoor seating and a few patio tables. I tried the CREAM, which is a take on a classic lox bagel. Smoked salmon, eggs, capers, etc. Pretty good! 8.5/10! Portion was filling and it’s clear each ingredient is intentional with tons of thoughtful sourcing. A tad too salty for me, but that’s all preference. I tried the banana cold brew, I could use a simple syrup but maybe I should have asked for it. I wanna try to crab sandwich next and will report back. Folks are saying the place is pricey. While it’s certainly not a daily spot for most of us, MN has a terrible shortage of local breakfast sandwich offerings and we should be thankful for more options! Eggs are already expensive, throw in all the local ingredients and high quality meats and seafoods, it’s gonna need to be these prices to survive. I am happy to pay for it again as a fun breakfast hangout. Chef Justin, I humbly request an Impossible Burger substitute option please 🙏🏼 If you made a egg, cheese, and hasbhbrown option, I’d come once a week. St. Paul and Portland both have a lot of us crunchy granola types 🙃

I'd give the food and the overall place a 4.5 star rating, but of course there is no 4.5 star option. I had the chicken parmesan and it was plenty and cheesy. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it didn't appear that the chicken breast was homemade,
