I haven’t been to a Big Boy in 50 years. It sure has changed. I ordered the Swiss Melt and it was decent, very thin patty. The sweet potato fries were outstanding and I highly recommend them. The soup and salad Buffet was not good. The lettuce was brown and the cucumbers were old. The soup selection was small and only the Cream of Broccoli looked good. I wouldn’t rush back but it was a fair lunch and the staff was very friendly.
Always a wonderful experience. Friendly and fast service, delicious food, wonderful milkshakes.
The service here is fantastic. My waitress was quick, nice and charming. I could also tell she knew the regulars very well. Food came out piping hot and fast. The only ding I would put on the place is the booths need some love.
Ordered breakfast with sausage links. The sausage were just warm and dried out from sitting in a pan in the kitchen. Asked for freshly done but got more of the same. This is not the first time. It's been a repeat occurrence. And now they added a " service fee" on too the bill as well. Time to find another place for breakfast
Great lunchtime atmosphere. Courteous staff. Good family place. Had breakfast for lunch, and it was fantastic! We'll definitely return.
Amazing service first off, Abigail communicated our orders perfectly to the kitchen and was highly sociable and answered all our questions for the meal on hand, which came out phenominal with extra crispy hash browns and delicious breakfast platters, would not hesitate to recommend for anyone visiting the UP!
Listen! This place is GREAT!!! If you're looking for an American breakfast at any hour, they have a large menu. Can't forget to mention their buffet selections that switches from breakfast to lunch in the late morning. The Santa Fe Potato Pancakes dish is hands down my new fave. No matter how busy they are, the staff is super friendly and timely. I've been there as early as 7:30a and as late as 8p, doesn't matter, 2 thumbs up all around. No where to park... shoot over by the bank next door :)
A friend takes me there when I take here to medical appointments. The staff has been great every time. Checked up on routinely but not often to be bothersome. Fish salad bar wasn't ready to start for 20 min. That's why we stopped there. She went to the kitchen to check if anything was ready. They started bringing things out as they were ready. One time I noticed a few tables weren't wiped the best.
Good food and they get it too you reasonably fast when when they are very busy both inside and drive-thru. The food is good, they have a lot of options s for side. And I love the shakes.
