Every time I come here , it is a pleasant experience and the food is always good. We did have an issue with our order today, but without missing a beat the waitress realized what was missing and brought it out to us right away. We will definitely be going there again.
The host and waitress were very nice. They did a great job taking care of us and checked on our table often. We're an hour and a half away, but always try and make it in when we're up there.
We got our usual, Big Boys and fries and Cole Slaw. The food was really good. The menus were a little run down, which sort of surprised us. We'll definitely come back. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Overall, a very nice lunch!
Big boys are far and few between I had to see what this one had to offer since I'm from California and have been to a few but there a dying breed nowadays, tried the new slim jim and knew they were stepping out of there lane and it did not pay off. Stick to burgers and breakfast. But the salad dressings are still amazing. Overall not to bad but nothing special.
Great food!!! The raw onion was a little much, but I just took them off my salad. The garlic bread was a hamburger bun which is different and above average in taste. Spaghetti was awesome. One of the best side salads for this type of meal.
Side salad had squishy, translucent tomatoes. I'm assuming it was prepared yesterday. Theres hard cheese in the edges of the container. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and it came with bacon. It's a good thing I'm not religious. But I don't like bacon so it wasn't a very good sandwich. I did not order the mushroom bacon Swiss. And there was a large chunk of the end of an onion in my last bite of the burger. The mixed vegetables had no butter or garlic as advertised. Just hot, wet veggies. The only decent thing was the onion rings.
I ordered a Super Big Boy and fries. The fries were not fresh and the Big Boy burger tasted like it was meet from the freezer. When I first came to the restaurant some time ago, everything was perfect, now it seems like no one cares anymore about what is served. They need to go back to everything being fresh.
I've been going to this restaurant on occasion since the 90's. The burgers are to die for and taste exactly the same as they always did. The restaurant does not have a buffet anymore so those who remember that don't expect it. The inside has been recently renovated including the restroom and it looks good!
