This place is perfect! We booked one of the private rooms. The amount of space in the room along with all the shared spaces in the house for the price you pay is truly a deal! Everything is sparkling clean and sooo cozy. Also, walking distance to all the good spots in downtown! Definitely only staying here on future Big Bear trips :)
A phenomenal hostel, and great for discovering local music! I felt super at home from the very start and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the staff and other guests. Special mention to Yogi, the cuddly guard dog! Thanks for having me!
A most excellent sweet spot in Big Bear! Very clean and comfortable room with excellent beds and bedding. Sarge/John is a wonderful host and runs a tight ship, but all good!
cozy and nice place, super near bars and restaurants. I recomend it 100% thank you guys for the help.
Very clean and comfortable quarters with all the amenities you need. Wifi, towels, linens, kitchen, etc. John is very friendly and helpful! Close to everything in town.
Wow! I can't say enough great things about this place. I had a private room and was the only non-hiker staying there for the weekend, but I did not once feel left out! Sarge and the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. It felt like I was seeing old friends within minutes of arriving. My room was very clean and I felt secure during my whole stay. Bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. Hot water too. There was always some kind of food or drink available in the house kitchens, always somebody interesting to talk to hanging around the grounds, and not to mention plenty to do in the surrounding area. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and I'll always recommend this spot to any friends visiting Big Bear. I can't wait to hike the PCT someday and stay like a true hiker!
What a pleasant surprise! Great room. Comfortable beds. CLEAN! Sarge, the manager, is a great guy that made us feel right at home. Nice hot water! We stayed in the blue house and nearly had the place to ourselves. Across the street is the lake! Doesn't get any better for the money. So happy I found this place to stay in Big Bear!
Sarge is a phenomenal host! The entire hostel was really clean. There is a fully furnished kitchen, lots of bathrooms, a nice patio space, lots of communal areas to hang out, and it’s in a convenient location. I had a great stay!! Would definitely recommend to anyone coming through Big Bear!

The best Hawaiian restaurant to visit! There are different choices of Hawaiian food, and they are delicious. This place is dog-friendly and there is only outdoor seating. Again, delicious food, the wait time is usually a bit long since it's a popular

Everyone that works here is so nice and the food is always great. Their prices are very reasonable. Bring a sticker and add to their walls and grab a cup of coffee before mountain biking or snowboarding
Good service, lots of parking, and staff that want you to enjoy your trip! I was happy to find this place on a busy weekend and was not disappointed got a party of 6 in quickly and they even took my strange specialty request without a guff. I will be

Can honestly say that Wyattâs was definitely a highlight of our 2 week trip from Australia. The food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere with the line dancing was just awesome. I wish I could come back to just come here aga
We didn't actually stay overnight at this place, but two couples/friends did and we visited with them at their little cottages for several hours. The only negative (which is barely that) was that there is no visitor parking on site. You must park on
Booked through sapphire and man!!!! This was definitely a great experience. Basically, your own little apartment with everything included. We had forgotten some cooking tools and viola! Cabinets were stocked with pots, pans, baking tools, and napkins
