Stayed over at the hotel down the road, after seeing the sad breakfast spread we decide to stop in since it was close. Great decision! Excellent breakfast. We split a biscuit and sausage gravy then he had French toast and I had the Benedict with the loaded potatoes. Superb food and service. Waitress was super attentive and funny! I think I heared someone call her Kelly. If we ever travel back this way, we will stop again and definitely ask to sit in her section if she is working.

First time eating here. The atmosphere and artwork is really great. Colorful menus and nice use of color. The lightning needs updated, it’s like being in a hospital. But aside from that, I got the Hibernator. Would definitely recommend. The breading is super light, the sawmill gravy served on top is very flavorful and rich, and the portion sizes are enormous. Come hungry, this is not a light meal. Food was great. Slight delay in having our order taken, but the staff was very friendly and polite. The person I came with ordered the Douglas chicken biscuit. Again, delicious meal. However, the temperature of the chicken was not super hot. The flavors were great though. Tasty, just wish it was served hotter. Would eat here again.

Hats off to the cook here. He/she seems to really love what they do because the passion is in the food. We went twice with my family and both times ALLLLLLL the food we ordered was 5 stars. So happy we stopped in here. ALLL if the gravies are delicious. You have to try the pimento grits!!!! The owner and staff are very kind and pleasant! Kelly is a spicy character haha but she was awesome and took good care of us

Whatever you do, you MUST try a biscuit. They are definitely fresh and homemade. The jellies are also great. Go hungry as they are huge portion sizes. The service did lack, there was only one other person when we went, maybe a large group in the back but it seemed to take forever to get food then the check. We will try again on a weekend when there might be better servers.

Great place for a hearty comfort food breakfast if you have some time. Gravy is tasty and is served with many dishes. The Douglas and Yogi both were good. Reasonably priced as a family of four we paid ~$55. They were not too busy and we sat immediately. Nice place for a weekend breakfast

This place is a one and done for me. While the menu looks tempting, it was quite disappointing. We ordered the full breakfast, country fried steak, a side of pimento grits, and a biscuit with brie cheese and fig jam. To drink, I opted for the honey bear latte. The grits were tasty and prepared perfectly. Everything else was disappointing. The disappointment would take so long to explain and I don't feel like tearing down their food. It's not that it's bad, it's just that I've read recommdations that raved about the food (especially the biscuits). There are so many other wonderful places to get breakfast, I would say go there and skip this place unless you feel like taking a chance to experiment. I feel like I'm pretty fair with my reviews so just be cautious if you expect to be blown away by the options on the menu. Life is too short to eat basic food.

Came here to give the biscuits a shot and was thoroughly impressed. They were massive and a great consistency. You can build your own biscuit breakfast or order from a pre-set selection. Prices are relatively reasonable, especially if you order a more simple option. Coffee was good, and so were the potatoes. Our kids really liked the pancakes from the kids menu. Service was friendly, but a bit slow considering the place was empty when we arrived. Overall 4.5 stars and definitely worth a try if you're in to big, tasty biscuits.

Really great biscuits! The food here is delicious. I got the Biscuit Benedict with a side of home fries. The Biscuit Benedict is just eggs Benedict with a biscuit instead of an English muffin. And a biscuit is a much better choice. Plus the biscuit Benedict has bacon jam which was delicious. My wife got the sweet & savory lunch biscuit and it was great too. We also tried a flight of mimosas. They were all good, but the strawberry lemonade one in particularly was surprisingly good. Great place to go for brunch.
