Big Aloha's Ali'i Cove Restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away in a shopping center. When we arrived at 11 AM, the place was quiet, but it didn't take long for a crowd to form – a sign of something special. My son and I opted for the Chicken Katsu and Chicken Teriyaki dishes, and boy, were we in for a treat! The Macaroni Salad was a hit with both of us, and the Chicken Katsu was hands down the best we've had in Texas. The service was friendly and added to the overall fun vibe of the place. The dining area had just the right Hawaiian atmosphere, making our lunch experience even more enjoyable. If you're on the hunt for a taste of Hawaii right here in Texas, Big Aloha's Ali'i Cove Restaurant is the spot to be. The mouthwatering dishes, great service, and inviting ambiance make it a must-visit for any food lover. 🏝️🍗🍲👌

Good food, served by good people, at a fair price. What else do you need? I got a plate with teriyaki beef, teriyaki chicken, portuguese sausage, and beef short ribs, on a bed of rice. The macadamia nut pancakes are also very good.

This is my favorite Hawaiian food in the San Antonio area. Love the Friday Poke Bowl and the Chicken Katsu.

Hidden Gem is an understatement. The food tastes great, feels filling, and the service is the very definition of ma and pop restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting too, almost home-like. It’s like I almost would have to remind myself that this isn’t my living room. An exaggeration on my part to be sure, but nonetheless this is a very welcoming restaurant. The only complaint I really have is their hours, the people demand more time for Teri Chicken! I booked them for my upcoming wedding as well, I can’t wait!

Authentic taste of HOME! Mahalo Nui Loa for bringing the true kanaka ma'oli flavors to San Antonio!

My husband and I have heard about this place for a while now and live not far from them and thought we’d drop in for our first time and boy did it not disappoint. The food was spectacular and the service was amazing. I love supporting family owned businesses and we will continue to come here and support them. My husband got the 2 meat plate (kalua pig and the teri beef) and loved it! I got the butter garlic pulehu steak and it was so tender and the flavor was AMAZING! We can’t wait to go back and try a few other items 😁.

Been meaning to try this place for a while now and finally got to today. Just be sure to double check their hours/schedule before going! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the owners are really friendly. The food is delicious with my only complaints is the parking which isn't horrible but annoying and the other is the rice. It was a tad undercooked but still edible. Chicken katsu and the spicy pork is very delicious and I would recommend. Wanted to try their Spam musubi but, just to note, have a different menu for Saturdays compared to the other days. No biggie. I'll just have to come back during the week when they're open. They do this for delicious sounding breakfast items to be on the menu in lieu of weekday items. I might have go back on a Saturday again so that I can try them. Overall, check this place out! Shout out to the owners!

Food is just as it was in Hawaii!! The macadamia pancakes are so good, I think about them all the time. I feel blessed the owners and cooks have blessed us by opening here in San Antonio.
