You got to look for the sale items, if you involved a staff member, they'll help, but say you ask for size 12 wide, they will pull the $50-$70 shoes, not the sale priced ones. However, I bought 4 pair, I doubt I'll be back there for several years.

Customer service was excellent. Very friendly & helpful. Their selection is very limited but otherwise can find some good things for a good price.

I understand seasonal merchandise, but this Big 5 had minimal stock of slaps; cheapest were $30.00! Went to Fred Meyer, luckily they had an end-cap with about 10 pairs-$3.00! SCORE!

Went in looking for a pair of running shoes thinking they would have a better selection than most places in town. I was very disappointed. They have a small selection of shoes in women's 11, 5 to be exact. Then i thought I'd glace to see if i could find anything for my husband or son. There were even few men's shoes in general.
