Big 5 Sporting Goods - Sporting goods store in American Fork - 45 N 700 W St, USA

Bought 3 intex float tubes a few hours ago from here. Two of them instantly popped while floating the Provo River today. Was very dangerous and we sank. 3 mile hike back to our car. We took pictures of the tube that we had to leave behind. I drove straight back to the store for a refund. Assistant manager Ryker says there’s nothing he can do, but I would have try calling the manager on Monday. I asked him if the manager could call me or if he could pass the message on to his manager, he said no. Will never come back here, especially where they don’t care about safety issues.

I always feel like a valued customer and that I'm getting great value for my money at this Big 5 location. I have shopped here for several years and can almost always find exactly what I'm looking for. Whether its a good pair of shoes (they have some serious bargains at times) or a new basketball, or athletic attire. I can always find what I'm looking for 10-20% cheaper here at Big 5 with employees who seem genuinely interested in my experience.

Great prices and friendly service. I just outfitted 2 boys for baseball season. They had everything we needed in one stop, cleats, gloves, balls, batting gloves, and pants.

Big 5 Sporting Goods accounts for about 80% of the shoes my kids wore ages 6 to 18. While I'm a huge fan of Big 5, I don't go out of my way to come to this location. The one in Orem has a much bigger selection.

The store is tucked away in the back of the lot, but once you find it, you're in good shape. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a great selection of sports gear, clothing and tons of winter gear and sleds.

Me, my little brother and boyfriend all went to big 5 for various things and Brennen Young was extremely helpful and kind to us. He was very patient and even though we were taking forever he did not seem annoyed in the slightest. This guy deserves a raise hands down and we will be going back just because of his amazing customer service!

What are the big 5? Are they talking about 5 sports? What would be on that list? Who named this company ? Where’s my sandwich at? :/ Someone answer all these please
