Big 5 Sporting Goods - Sporting goods store in Stockton - 1053 W March Ln, USA

This store is very tight to walk through. I always feel like I'm in someone's way when shopping. The selection is good but pricing is not always competitive. I've found Basketballs and footballs for quite a bit less at other stores. The shoes are a good value when on sale. The parking lot is large and well kept.

The cashier made me wait until she was finished talking to her co-worker before she gave me my receipt. Not only was she unprofessional, but the "security kid" stands right by the check-out line, staring at customers. I don't know if he was trying to intimate people with his staring or if he had a bad day but he made it uncomfortable, especially since he's someone I'd make do my homework. Very uncomfortable visit to this store.

When I went in, I was looking for snow pants. I had asked for someone to be called two times and no one showed to help me. When other customers and employees were talking and ringing up their items I stood and waited for a good 20-30 minutes waiting for someone to help me and no one did. Then as I walked out I only got an “I’m sorry ma’am”, after I had wasted enough time in that isle and could not find what I was looking for. I bought nothing and will not come back to this location based off of the fact that they value some customers conversations over helping another customer. I am very displeased.

I was looking for combat/military boots and went to 3 different stores... I should have came to Big 5 Sporting Goods first! The staff was super helpful in getting me different sizes and patiently waited while I tried multiple boots and running shoes. While checking out, Isabella was super nice and we would able to use a coupon that my brother found on google. Overall, if you have any outdoor needs, visit Big 5 first! :)

I have nothing bad to say other then the old security guard is always staring wich makes me very uncomfortable other then that the official employees àre nice and friendly smile

After Ebay, Amazon and Dick's all failed me...Big 5 Sporting Goods to the rescue. Finally found a good pair of running shoes for the wife n I. Got both of them on sale plus a $10 off coupon that just expired for $90 OTD. What a Bargain with an awesome shopping experience. Saved major $$$

Didn't have what I wanted here, but went with a recommendation from the manager, and purchased a pair of skechers, it was strange though that big five didn't carry nike.

Went into Big 5 bought a nice pair of tennis shoes they were so nice I went back to buy a second pair unfortunately they didn't have any in the store so they had to order some from a different store and have them also I noticed that in the store Stockton store that is they had some military gear Marine t-shirts Navy T-shirts marine hats Air Force t-shirts I serve honorably in the army for 20 years and all they had was a backpack and a 1/2 representing the army pretty sad but they did have good service
