Nice selection of hunting rifles, less than enough ammunition in stock. Firearms are priced competitively, but ammunition is higher than some other similar sources. Still great that they have the number of in-stock items for hunters and recreational shooters. Additionally, they have a wide variety of athletic shoes and hiking boots at very good prices. They also sell hunting and fishing license. It is a wonderful, convenient location for many who enjoy outdoor activities.
So convenient to have a Big 5 in our town. Since we have no malls in Pahrump, having a sporting good store for shoes here is a great idea. Good job Pahrump.

We came in to get startup equipment for Softball and was helped by Bridgette. She was very helpful and knowledgeable! She was kind and very open to our questions, we left with everything we needed and feel ready for the season! Thank you Bridgette! We will be back.
Every time I come here I am able to be in and out because of how professional the staff are. My only real complaint is that they don't stock enough Puma stuff for my liking, but that's a me problem.
Bought a wide pair of shoes for my hard to fit wide, flat feet, and yet he has a high instep. I bought them for a Christmas gift. Prayerfully they will fit!
The sales clerk, Randy was extremely professional and answered all my questions thoroughly. The young woman who was the cashier, Shelley was also very kind and being that I'm a senior citizens, she went above and beyond!
The only suggestion I have for making my shopping experience better would be to have shopping carts. The baskets are okay, but for seniors with mobility or balance issues, they really help. In fact I would have probably spent more time in the store and possibly made more purchases! I would recommend Big 5 Sporting Goods store to anyone in need of those types of things. I also liked the personal touch I was given, ie, " can I help you find something?" Keep up the good job. Please consider the shopping carts!!😀

They have a playground for kids and an open baseball field that is completely gated and dogs are allowed to run free, just make sure to pick up after them. It's great when you need a place for them to run wild until they exhaust themselves lol.
