My husband and I came from out town and we decided to come here. Found these hiking boots online and called over the phone to see if they had it in stock and they did. The customer service over the phone was amazing. It was even better coming to the store to see everything. The store was very well maintained and Cody who was in footwear did an amazing job. Not only did he help us out but I saw that he went out of his way to help another customer out as well. 10/10
I am what would be considered a ,steady customer. To be a "steady " customer, there must be an attraction. Big Five has a little of everything related to most popular sports. The employees are ..younger ,but polite and helpful . The prices are ..affordable , basically a price for every budget. It's one of the few National Chains that hasn't jacked up prices, I digress. Big five has stores everywhere and there is plenty of parking . My youngest daughter started her retail executive career with Big Five . They give valuable work experience to young adults. So what I'm saying is , spend your hard earned money in a National chain that cares about hard working people and their children who seek employment and affords you the ability to enjoy the outdoors without breaking the bank .

The staff is amazing at this location! Manager is so easy to talk to and always goes out of his way to help. Even if something is cheaper elsewhere I'm still shopping at Big 5 Mesa just to give this store my business thank you all for always going out of your way to be kind.
Worst place I ever shopped. Went there to find a pair of shoes in my size, they didn't have any on the rack and the employees just stood around watching me so I walked out and went to a real shoe store.
