I went there to purchase ammunition and cashier Selene was probably having a bad day (I hope). Very short and impatient with me. Although I got a good deal on ammunition, I feel she could improve on her customer service skills. Next time, I'll just go to Lakewood or Downey.

They have the BEST sales. And they accept returns within their terms easily. Be certain to check batteries if ypu purchase an item that already has them installed. Some batteries had corroded, making operation less than. Optimal.

Terrible, I went to look at swimming gloves. They had one cheap pair. They had a huge selection of toys. No one was stopping to ask for help. I mentioned theoretical lack of selection to the clerk at the counter. He response was huh as she looked down.

My husband and I live nearby and we only come here when we go out camping , snowboarding, for my son's soccer tryouts, for fishing... This place was very good to us throughout the years and helped us apply for the things we needed for our vacations. Thank you. Big 5! The people here always were open to suggestions and always had good customer service! My husband bought a few knives from this place and I even bought my mace keychain from this place... Sometimes they would go on sale and I would even buy my whole family some mace as a stocking stuffer for Christmas.

What I like about the Big 5 Sports brand is their consistent bandwidth. The merchandise is good, serviceable stuff, that hits the mark without going overboard. This Big 5, like most, is smaller than most retail stores these days. If you know what you want, you can get in and get out without getting lost or having to ask for help from 48 people who you can't find. At the Big 5, the registers are in front and seem to be attended by people who know something and seem to be able to answer questions about where to find something in the store while simultaneously checking out a customer. This Big 5 provided that same sane experience. Not only that but they sell quench gum by the piece at the register.

Everyone was nice but I’d be cautious with the black girl with a septum that works there, didn’t help and looked like she didn’t even want to be there, you don’t have to be there if you’re that unhappy.
