11/09/2023 The best Big 5 store I have ever been to! Half a century old now...lol, and have been to many of them. The customer service... fantastic... I mean fantastic compared to all my other experiences. My son and I were heading down to Joshua Tree for the weekend, backcountry camping, and had to get some shoes... They had this old school politeness I hadn't seen in a while... anywhere. Thank you.

This is my neighborhood's sports store. They have a good selection of gear for different sports from running to workout to camping. The store employees are friendly and the prices are good.

The Big 5 Sporting Goods store in picturesque Yucaipa,California had a very helpful staff and a great selection of sports and outdoor products. I needed a bicycle inner tube and the lady at the counter was very helpful. The price was fair and they have loads of free parking too! Their return policy is excellent and the experience was very positive!

They didn't have any equipment I needed for my hunting trip. The person who helped me kept saying "we don't carry that here". I said "this is a sporting good store". Lol

They had exactly what we were looking for. Quick check out! Both items we bought were 50% off! Even better!!!

That's a four and a half star. They have what you want at a good price. The stores clean and easily navigated, possibly not, in a wheelchair. The thing that kept them from getting a five-star review was the personnel on shift at the time I was there. They're normally very knowledgeable and have a good idea of what they have in stock and will allow you promotions and discounts that you didn't know existed. Not so much this time.

Came in for binoculars to watch boyfriend's baseball games. Selection is nice, but a lot of items have torn boxes, scratches, etc. Perhaps it's a shipping issue. Staff is wonderful though.
