UPDATE: after 11 out of 13 days at this hotel: Unfortunately, my experience described below has not improved. Despite being on a long-term stay, I have only received two cleanings. When I attempted to address this issue at the front desk, I encountered significant delays in finding staff at the front desk after 4 times. When I finally spoke with someone, I was informed that additional cleanings are available only at a rate of $40 per cleaning, which was not disclosed upfront for the two previous ones. The lack of transparency and professionalism is unacceptable. The staff is frequently unavailable at the front desk and often seen with headphones on, which further impedes communication. Considering the level of service and hidden costs, this hotel does not offer good value. For a comparable price, you can find superior accommodations at nearby hotels such as the Sofitel. This has been an extremely disappointing experience. *I just had an interesting experience at this hotel. After leaving my towel and trash bins by the door (since my room hasn’t been serviced in three days), a lady knocked at my door and I was kindly informed that there's no cleaning service available and that i shouldn’t leave it on the floor.. Firstly, I was not made aware of this upon arrival. It seems you have to put your towel in a garbage bag, leave it outside, and help yourself to fresh towels from a cabinet in the corridor. The hotel itself is fine—well-located and reasonably priced. However, the noise levels and service leave much to be desired. I’m honestly still a bit shocked and unsure if I would book here again.*

Check in is at 4pm even though email said 3pm, and i showed up at 3; other than that, this stay was perfect. Since I was there an hour early, I tried the attached cafe/bar and liked it. Vale is the only parking option FOR the hotel and is an additional $30 per night. My car was parked under my room, so even tho vale doesn't open until 11:30am (check out is at 11) the front desk handed me my key and I walked about 200feet from the lobby to my car. Rooms are SMALL. I needed a place to sleep before/after an event that was a 5min walk away, so I did not mind the small space. Rooms looked very good considering the great price and proximity. Hotel does NOT have a landline/phone. There was an attendant at the desk at all times that I was there. Doors are opened with codes on keypads. Mine worked for my room and reentry into the hotel after hours. Overall, small but perfect/wonderful stay if you just need a base to return to for any of the surrounding activities.

Stayed here many times in the last few years and spent thousands of dollars and never had a problem until now. It is VERY clear the hotel cut costs and now has a 2 star quality at best. I spent $300 for a room, came back from a night out to find my code to get into the hotel doesnt work. There's nobody at the front desk overnight. After 30 minutes on the phone with Sonder customer service I finally got let in, and the worker just said "yea it happens sometimes". Um, what? I've had better customer service at a holiday inn and for half the price. Never staying here again and highly recommend taking your money to one of the many other better staffed hotels down the road that charge the same price or less. What a waste of money staying at this dump.

Stayed at Beverly Terrace Hotel for 3 nights and there were 3 of us - we fit comfortably and slept pretty good with 2 double beds. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and I’ve seen reviews about no one being at the desk at night - you will be giving a passcode to enter and exit as you please when their front desk hours are over. I would say this hotel isn’t anything fancy if that’s what you’re looking for. But in terms of feeling safe and accessibility to the city the location is perfect! I loved sitting in the rooftop and enjoying the views. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location for Troubadour concerts. Great restaurant downstairs and many options in walking distance. 30.00 valet fee is available for convenience. Very clean rooms. Great price especially during the week.

In short: Tiny rooms. No cleaning during stay. Parking costs 30 dollars a day. We had the restaurants generator right outside our window - operating until 10:30 pm every evening. Very loud. The floor and the beds vibrating like if we were living on a tumble drier. Kids couldn’t sleep. Staff couldn’t care less.

The hotel's design and overall appearance were less impressive in person than in the promotional images. During my two-night stay, I encountered several issues. On the first night, the shower handle broke, rendering it unusable. I promptly reported the problem to reception, who confirmed the damage but initially offered no immediate solution. Over the course of an hour, during which I made several trips down to the lobby and endured long waits only to be told that no other rooms were available, I was forced to shower at a nearby gym. It was not until the following day—and after further insistence—that I was finally moved to another room. Despite my efforts to seek compensation for the inconvenience through booking.com and direct communication with the hotel, they have been unresponsive to acknowledging the severity of not having a functioning bathroom. I do not recommend this hotel. Instead, consider staying at the Beverly Laurel Motel, which is a bit further away but provides a much better experience.

Okay, so first I'd like to mention that it is a good hotel, I'm not gonna lie. The room is pretty okay and the neighborhood is good BUT they gave us a room that is very close to the reception (room 10) and it was extremely loud. We could hear everything it is said in the reception and people kept talking very loud. We mentioned that we wanted to change rooms and all was said was that they couldn't do anything about is because the only room available was better than ours and that we had to pay for an upgrade as noise wouldn't count as a problem. I mean.. what? you pay good amount of money for a hotel and they tell you that you just should keep up with the noise... I mean, I couldn't sleep during the night. That's an ABSURD, especially because THEY HAD ANOTHER ROOM. Such a bummer!
