Stayed here on a whim after needing to leave a motel a couple doors down - we asked if they had early check in , which they hadn’t - typically it’s at 3 but the owner had seen us across the street, killing time waiting, and let us check in as he had just gotten a room ready , which ALSO upgraded our room! Everything was smooth from there and the room was AWESOME. Clean, big, well accommodated. A bit “vintage” but that’s the Tahoe charm. Across the street from CVS and a breakfast spot, and better yet- slightly further from that is the beach with a tiki bar!!!! Will very likely stay here again!
Pleasantly surprised. Great location close to grocery stores, shops, and the beach. Had a nice outdoor picnic area. Friendly staff. The rooms were good for the price.

Blood on the bathroom door, mosquitoes in the room, smelled like weed. Ok place to crash for a couple hours then leave.
Took a chance here despite the reviews and was pleasantly surprised. Did not have any issues with bed bugs, blankets, heating or cleanliness of rooms. The management staff during our stay, Ravi and his family, made us feel really welcomed, shared their recommendations for their favorite attractions in the city, which I greatly appreciate as it was our first time in Tahoe in winters, along with great conversations over tea when we couldn’t find any restaurants open early in the morning in a snowstorm.
I also recommend this place for its proximity to the lake (2 mins walk), safeway next-doors and great restaurants across the streets. If you are visiting Heavenly village for skiing or shopping, this motel is only 10 mins away by drive 😊
Not a fancy hotel, but really comfortable, quiet, and clean.

The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.

Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
