Betsy's Restaurant - American restaurant in Morgan Hill - 650 Tennant Station, USA

Wow just wow what an amazing breakfast we had! Hard to describe the atmosphere of this family owned business. It had the charm of an old style diner. Stellar service by Randa! Order was taken and food was served promptly. My daughter’s french fries were hot and crispy! She loved her Southern Benedict and she’s a connoisseur. I had the chili verde burrito. That thing was as big as my head and weighed ten pounds. I’ll get two more meals out of it. The sauce was spectacular! The meat was tender and the potatoes perfectly cooked. I saw a club sandwich on a plate and it was huge! This is a very special place. I will be back and bringing my friends and family! Thank you!

Cute little restaurant with friendly staff and good food. I felt like I was at my Tia's house, the ladies that helped us were so nice and made me feel comfortable and welcomed. When I went, it was very busy but all the staff remained calm and just worked through it perfectly. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast, it was tasty, it was a real cube steak, not the fake ones. The gravy could use a little more homemade flavor to take it to the next level. Don't be scared by the eggs in the picture, I ordered them over hard on purpose lol.

I loved the atmosphere! Especially since this is a family owned business with the owners on the floor working! And even better, the food was fantastic! There is a huge selection for both breakfast and lunch! I had the Chicken Fried Steak, made with a New York steak, and delicious country gravy, great hash browns and fantastic pancakes! The other dish, The Southern Breakfast, had 2 over easy eggs, bacon, biscuit and gravy. We also ordered a hamburger pattie to split! Our server, Rachel, was excellent and very professional! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and rate it a 5 out of 5!

Very friendly service. The hostess offered suggestions about the menu and dishes which were unfamiliar to us. Food was tasty but a very large portion. Great for a breakfast/brunch if you have a long day ahead. Bottomless coffee was great, but filter coffee served, which was very strong. Restaurant opened at 6:30, but we waited until 10 thinking it was closed :). Restaurant was busy all the time.

Overcooked, brown, scrambled eggs. Sausage tasted freezer burned and was cold inside. The waiting system is none existent. You put your name down on a list that isn't even referenced. They just say "hey table for 2?". Why am I even signing in? If we weren't standing right there we would have not been seated. The use boxed gravy. Will not return.

If you’ve never been here, you’re missing out. It’s almost always full of people because the food is pretty awesome. I hope they never remodel, because it has a nostalgic kind of decor.

Betsy's is a local, family owned staple in Morgan Hill. Old school diner vibe. They have the BEST chili Verde! I get it with half beans, half hash browns and tortillas of choice (flour or corn). The flavor is to die for. Little kick to it so of you don't like spice, get something else. Service is always on point, reliable and delicious. They alwsys keep the coffee full and hot. What's not to love?!

Betsy's is attached to a bowling alley. When the gods align and both Betsy's and the alley are open, you can order food while sitting around the ball return thingy. Food is homemade kind of great. I've only had breakfast there, but everything is tasty and the omelets fluffy. The service is friendly and efficient - this is probably the best thing about Betsy's. The staff seems to know all the customers and still like them. Their take out service is big and easy.
