Loved our stay! Sites were clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were incredibly clean. Loved having wood and ice available at any time! Staff was fantastic and so helpful with recommendations. The camp store has lots of merch but just a few camping necessities. Frankfort is a great town to enjoy as well!
100% recommend, and we will be back. We stayed in a cabin. It was so cute, comfy, and CLEAN. Like really really clean!!! Hottest showers at the bath house even after lots of people showering hours prior to my shower. Wonderful home cooked food at the cafe. Beautiful immaculate kept grounds! Located right on the paved bike trail. I’m not sure you can get any better than this place in this whole area, we just loved it!! Thank you for the wonderful experience :)
Love this place in the off season. The staff there is so nice, the facilities and park itself so clean. I can get a hot shower and blow dry and it's so clean! The park was full, mostly fisherman. The sites are large but there isn't much privacy between camp sites. We wound up being social with our neighbors even if we would rather have had time to ourselves. Woke up to all of our wood being used, drunks yelling at 3:45am and someone used the woods rather than the restroom and left their tissue behind our tent. Again, I'm a huge fan of off season, it's not the parks fault people are gross. This is more of a party scene than a state park that actually patrols the park.
Adorable! First time camping where the tent & bed are already set up. So convenient! The hospitality when checking in was great. Clean showers! Excited to come back and try out a mini cabin.
Cute little campground. We had a wedding and it was awesome how close it was. The cafe has incredible food. I was shocked a little campground can put out such an awesome breakfast! Close to lots of good kayaking and pickleball courts.
Mattresses were very comfortable and firm. The feeling of sleeping in a cabin with just the essentials and a few steps from a nature preserve was quite a joy. The coffee, made ready at 07:00. The camp store wonderfully stocked. The full breakfast to start the day and the rest is up to you.
We have come here 2 times a year for years They are the nicest people you could ask for The bathrooms are always clean and well stocked The grass is cut ..no ticks They make sure you have bags to pick up after your dog. Nice Nothing fancy and that's just what we like most Thank you
Our extended family reserved several campsites in July 2021. Excellent location, situated near Sleeping Bear Dunes, bike trails, and the lovely town of Frankfort. The sites and bathhouses were clean. This campground was a rarity in that it had a dishwashing house, something I appreciated and used daily. It was intended for cleaning fish, and I could smell it, but on the whole it was functional for my needs. Checking in/out was easy, and the owners personally worked with our large party as the separate reservations were made. Two families made use of the refurbished vintage campers, as they didn't own camping equipment. The campers required cleaning upon arrival and were cramped. My elderly Aunt is very tall and the dinette bed was too short for her. She made due as she never complains about anything. It is a private, established campground, which translates to lots close together without much privacy. For the location, cleanliness, ease of reservations, supportive hosts, I would use this campground again.

I brought my dog here to see the sunset and loved it! Small parking area, but there were only a few people, so I didn't have a problem getting a spot. You can walk the beach a long way. Will definitely come again!
This place was great. Small, quaint, with delicious food and wonderful relaxing atmosphere. We drove nearly an hour to try it out. We had steak and scallop. They were prepared to perfection and topped it off with Carrot Cake. The drink menu was good
As someone with an egg allergy, I love it when I stumble upon a place that takes it seriously. Delicious food and coffee! Oat, soy and coconut milk options too! Great service from the very friendly staff - weâll definitely be back when we come to
Fished out of frankfort this place is close to ramp. Rooms are small but clean owner definitely takes pride in his business. They also have a gas grill that can be used to cook out and has a freezer outside and sells 8lbs bag of ice for $1.00 will de

BBQ chicken pizza is wonderful but their cheese bread is to die for!! Prices were very reasonable ($27 for pizza and breadsticks) and it was ready so fast! We ordered carry out and took it down to the beach to eat (within walking distance). Will be r
