It is a great park to take your younger kids to. It's small enough to keep an eye on your children while they play on the equipment.
It's a great small city park. Kids were playing, groups were gathered under a tree, I was able to loose leash walk my dog with enough separation from everyone. Great for a short walk of fresh air, enough trees to keep you fairly cool.
I liked it because there was alot of shade and places for kids to play and adults to do games. What was disappointing was there was no place to wash hands. The port-a-potty didn't even have sanitizer in it. There were cigarette butts in there. Which is disgusting, since it's an outside park and people should never need to smoke in there. And if they do, maybe just throw it in the trash can. People are so disrespectful these days. No wonder things get taken away and no one wants to work. Adults are like toddlers and have to be cleaned up after. This shouldn't be that way. We should be setting the example FOR our children to take care of things and BE RESPECTFUL of what isn't ours. Otherwise I enjoyed my time at the park today.
Kids had a ball and released a lot of energy! A raptor made a guest appearance which the kids loved!

This is a great park, right on the hike and bike trail. There is a lot of green, grassy space with nice, big, shady trees. The playground equipment isn’t anything over-the-top, but there are different levels of slides, things to hang on, riding toys, and a decent amount of swings. There are picnic tables and a covered picnic table area with bathrooms. Two parking lots.
Holmes lake is an amazing place to go. There's a trail that you can hike, walk or bike around the lake. A really nice playground for the kids with bathroom facilities near by. We have gone out there for picnics, cookouts, play dates at the park, fish

Very well laid out park. We went with our children and there was plenty to entertain them for hours. Paved trails and very clean. Great for running, walking, biking or skating. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in the area!
