Positive: It was in Ville Platte Negative: I didnt like anything about the hotel.1. It's priced to high2. There is no elevator3. There is a mold smell EVERYWHERE 4. NOT CLEAN AT ALL5. I had to sleep in my car because I couldn't breath in the hotel, my asthma pump didn't helpThere was roaches

Stay anywhere but here!! Worst experience ever!! We have stayed at a lot of properties and have never had words with management at a hotel. Checking in my husband paid for a room for 2 adults and 2 children in case we had grandkids with us. He had asked for a double room but did not get one and was told by the woman at the desk he needed to “learn how to book a hotel room” which was not ok. We were there for a baseball tournament and after a very late game, we decided to give our room to family members (2 adults, 2 children) because they did not have a room for the night. As we were showing them to the room, this management couple, who were watching on video, followed us to our room demanding to know if our family were staying with us or just visiting. They made a big unnecessary scene in front of our grandchildren which is unacceptable!! We left our family in the room for the night and the lady had words for us again as we left the lobby. She even had words with our family later who also had issues including not being able to eat the breakfast there the three days they stayed because it was so horrible. We returned the next day to check on our family and the management couple who we didn’t interact with were arguing in the hallway. We would never feel comfortable staying there though we paid for the two nights we booked. As far as the property itself, it is in serious need of updating. But we have stayed in similar places where the nice customer service made up for it. Not here. There is no excuse for these people and the way they treat their guests—especially the woman’s horrible attitude. Do yourself a favor and go down the road to Opelousas…we were greeted with great customer service and a nice room far away from these people and this awful property!

Was there 6/15/24 was told I had to put an extra 50 deposit which would be credited back toy card in 7 working days. They check my room upon check out and said everything was perfect. It is now 7/8/24 and I still have not gotten my money credit back to my card. Lady at front desk very rude when I call to inquire about my money.

Bed bugs!! Stayed here for a work trip because of convenient location to work site. I went to bed and saw two small bugs in my bed/on my pillow. Asked to change rooms because I saw a bug and said I wasn’t sure what it was and did not make any accusations but was met with confusion and denial that I could have possibly found a bug and was told that I could check all of their credentials and see that they are up to date on spraying for bugs. They said there were no other rooms available but they did change the sheets for me and made it seem like that would solve the problem. After the sheet change, I still felt nervous so I checked under the mattress and found several more bugs, larger, that definitely looked like bed bugs. I took a picture and showed it to the front desk, who responded “Oh! No it’s okay, these are not bed bugs, these are the roaches”. First of all, is that any better?? Second of all, if there are bugs why are you not fixing it? They somehow found an available room all of a sudden to move me to and said they would do a deep clean on the bug room. I went back to get my stuff and looked one more time and found an even bigger undeniable bedbug so I just checked out and moved hotels. They did provide a refund for my room and work on getting the room clean, but I was gaslit and denied every step of the way, to the point where I was apologizing to them for the inconvenience and I almost slept in a bed full of bed bugs because I was almost convinced that I was just being paranoid or dramatic. It seems like this place has a reputation for bugs.

We had an enjoyable stay. The room had a slight musty smell, but over all was very clean. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Louisiana.

Great hotel with a hometown feel. Reasonably priced and very clean. The internet work really well and it is fast. The hotel is in a good location and fairly close to the local restaurant's.

The staff at this hotel was so friendly and helpful! It was a perfect location for everything we wanted to do! The breakfast was perfect and offered many options

Clean and comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was above expectations. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Convenient location. Restaurant within walking distance. Would stay here again gladly.
