Best Western Toledo South Maumee - Hotel in Maumee - 6425 Kit Ln, USA

A very nice property with friendly and helpful staff! Check in was speedy and I felt valued as a BW rewards member. Our room was clean and comfy. Good breakfast options and a comfortable breakfast area. This was our first time to the area, and we will return!

Day staff were friendly and helpful. Clean place and quiet. Regular hotel breakfast options, however this one actually had American cheese slices to make a breakfast sandwich. 😁 I’d stay here again.

Honestly contemplated trying to get a refund after we checked in because the rooms weren’t very clean. We decided to stick it out though. We were on the first floor and our room smelled very musty like there was water damage. The carpet felt slightly damp and didn’t feel clean. There were also cobwebs and small spiders in corners throughout the room. It looks like they tried to update some things but were just putting a bandaid over the issues. Breakfast was also very lacking. Not much variety, especially as I am gluten free. Only one type of milk was available as well. Also was very hard to find water to drink. The pool was ok but we had to go to the front desk to request towels. Overall seems like the owners aren’t trying hard to make the hotel nicer or more accommodating for guests.

I never leave a review but this place was great for the price and the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Nice fitness center and pool. Clean rooms. Fresh hot breakfast. 10/10 would stay again!

Highly recommend this nice, well run motel. Very comfortable stay. Exactly as hoped for. Will return for my future trips to the Toledo area. Close to restaurants, gourmet grocery store. Maumee/Perrysberg is a lovely area with great parks, river access, and charming shopping areas.

This was a just okay stay. There is some updating that needs to be done to the rooms. The rooms were not incredibly clean but the staff was personable and the location is right near the on ramp to the highway. The breakfast left something to be desired. Overall it is an economy stay.

BED BUGS in our room. Small rooms. WiFi was slow, TV would not change channels. We stayed here for my son’s baseball tournament and ended a day early. They would not refund us for the day we did not stay. The other hotel that other parents stayed at refunded them but this place would not because they are greedy. We stay at Best Western quite a lot for travel Baseball but will not ever stay at another Best Western because of this experience.

This is an okay Best Western. The parking lot is decent. There is an odd spot for an electric vehicle to charge. The staff was incredibly nice. Overall the building is dated, and it looks like they've tried and certain regards make it modern. But it is still dated. The breakfast was extremely lacking
