Best Western The Oasis at Joplin - Hotel in Joplin - 3508 S Rangeline Rd, USA

Very happy to find a Hotel that is "Pet Friendly". My wife and I take road trips 3 or 4 times a year. Not always able to find rooms that accommodate our 7 and 10 pound pups. We stopped the following day in Grants New Mexico and made sure to find the Best Western there. Same great greeting for our pups.

We rolled in exhausted at 4am Wednesday morning and the desk clerk was such an angel. We set our alarms for breakfast which was excellent, filling and healthy! We could tell they truly care about pleasing the guests. Back to bed after till 30 minutes before checkout. The room smelled clean and fresh. The sheets were comfy and the bed oh so perfect!! Our stay was brief but I've ONLY got great things to say about this fine hotel.

I have stayed here several times. Usually without issues. Last night, my husband had to fix the toilet. It wouldn't flush. The shower area had water running fast on the other side of the wall. This property has obviously been updated, but my room had a few defects. Nothing major. Breakfast was good. The coffee machine had several choices, including decaffeinated. Had several flavors of creamers. The pool is outdoor and has cute decor. The rooms are all outdoor entrances. There is no elevator to the second floor. Overall, it was another great experience.

THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL & PLEASANT from check in to check out! Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and all the linens were clean and stained free! The bathroom was clean even around the toilet! There was black stuff on the ceiling, but I think it may be a painting issue over a mildew issue. The breakfast served was the normal fare. I was surprised they had avocado packs for toast! Awesome!! The woman working was very sweet and made sure we were happy and would help with anything we needed. There is a picnic area for grilling and dog refuse station. I recommend staying here if you're in the area and need a place to stay for the night.

Our tire blew out so we had to stay at a hotel in Joplin. My mother is disabled and we were able to get a handicap accessible room near the pet area for our geriatric dog. We asked for multiple extra blankets and pillows which were provided quick and easily. The next morning our electric cooler for our insulin had broken. The staff provided us with two Ziploc gallon freezer bags to fill with ice and showed me directly to the ice machine . Extremely nice staff!!! Clean comfortable room. It was a great stay among our multiple disasters.

Rolled up close to midnight after traveling most of the day with the family. I was all wired up with caffeine and needed rest. The family and I were ready to tap out after being on the road. The front desk clerk was awesome and positive. She met all the marks on customer service and made the check in quick and a positive experience. If you have time for breakfast, it is located where you check in. We drove to our room where the fun started. Parking is ok and was next to ylour room. As you enter, it can be observed that it's an aged facility. The air was on and the room was very cool, which we like as a family. We quickly hit the bed when we were quickly hit by the stench of the sheets. Being a former Marine, you know dirty sheets, but I didn't care but wife said, "do you smell?" At that moment it became a cartoon as she was sniffing herself, the room, the fly in the room, heck her boys and came to the conclusion it was the sheets. Which I said yup stinky sheets (which another guest had posted about during their stay there) The beds were semi hard but who cared after out long drive. The shower had a steady stream yet toilet was the size of the one I used in my elementary room back in the stone age. They had items to shower but not enough for all. We have to have learned something from covid and stinky sheets should have been one of those things not to practice. If you are solo and just need and inexpensive place that might have dirty sheets, stay here. If you're a family, pay the 40 bucks more stay at another chain hoter.

Clean room with comfortable beds and great water pressure in the shower. My family & I felt safe and secure. Very friendly customer service and the breakfast was pretty good as well. All for a reasonable price. If i ever find myself in Joplin again and need a room I will stay here.

This hotel had a walking shower!!!!! We was traveling with our Mom and needed 3 to sleep and a walk-in shower. The only hotel in Joplin that was with those accommodations. Believe me we checked many. I sure hope that more hotels will start offering rooms like this. Thank You 🙃!!!
