Best Western Texas City I-45 - Hotel in Texas City - 10620 Emmett F Lowry Expy, USA

The room was beautiful. The entry to the hotel lobby is beautiful. I didn't have enough towels (only 1 set). I had to get more. Breakfast was good. Several of us were there for a wedding. It was a great hotel. The pool is inviting. No carpet in the rooms, wooden floors, that was a nice touch!

Their customer service is rude and unprofessional. The airline messed up my travel plans so my whole trip was cancelled. But before that, I booked through Orbitz as pay later, meaning I was not supposed to be charged at all until I got to the hotel. This hotel scammed me because they charged my card while I was waiting at the airport to go out there. I let the hotel know what was going on as it was happening to me at the airport. There were delays then finally a cancellation. The hotel assistants keep telling me I can't get a refund and it's a no show although I told them what was going on and they shouldn't have charged my card in the first place. Every time I call and ask calmly for a manager. They tell me the manager is not available. I've called 3 times and at different times and today the guy hung up in my face. I did nothing wrong to deserve horrible treatment from its employees. All they need to do is refund me. I was wrongfully charged for this room in the first place. I am responding to the "Manager's" response. It's ridiculous that I get a response on here but I have called once again today and once again the person is telling me the manager isn't available. My money needs to be refunded NOW.

As usual, great rooms, people and area. Love it every time we stay here. It is our cruise headquarters every time we sail out of Galveston.

Was very disappointed with this stay. Room was dirty. Floors were gritty. Blind was broken. Nearly fell on my head when we tried to close it. They charged our credit card 3 times before getting it resolved. Both mornings we were there there was no food. My husband found poop on the floor in the bathroom. They were understaffed and 1 guy was trying to do it all.

Made reservations for 5 rooms all of us going on a cruise and they never notified us that they cancelled our reservation and many others! I understand hurricanes and that they accepted FEMA but it was unacceptable for them to take all that money just to screw hundreds of other people that made travel plans from all over the country without notice... Owners are obviously greedy and don't care about their customers or the opinion of their customers... I will never do business with this hotel for that reason... Beware... On a side note the day of checking into another hotel they called to say that they cancelled our reservation... Priceless!

This is an awesome hotel. The staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. There was always someone there when you needed something. The breakfast was a variety of things to eat so everyone would be cover. The rooms were very clean. Thank you too the cleaning staff you did an awesome job.

Entire experience was top notch. Everything looked and smelled clean. Front desk even came and helped get the cable box working. Apparently someone had unhooked it from the tv simple fix but did not hesitate to get it all back in order. Breakfast was even more than I expected it to be! We will definitely be back!

This hotel was lovely. Impeccably clean, the breakfast was exceptional for a non-luxury property. Only gripe is, currently (April 2024), construction is being done in the 45 Freeway, and accessing the hotel is challenging. Coming north, we missed the right construction exit and it cost 15 extra minutes trying to circle around back to the hotel. If you can avoid that mistake, this is a wonderful place!
