Best Western Southwest Little Rock - Hotel in Little Rock - 6100 Mitchell Dr, USA

This place was absolutely awful. The hallway leading from the lobby to the first set of rooms smell damp. We were given room 111. As soon as we opened the door there is an overwhelming musty smell. It smells like a bar before it opens. When I went to look at the bathroom, roaches ran as soon as I flipped on the light. I went to the front desk to see If we were able to change and the lady at the front was very kind. She gave me a key to see if it was acceptable before she switched us over. The new room and hallway smelled much better so we took it but there still was a smell. The floors in both rooms look like they have not been vacuumed in a while especially along the walls. We would have changed hotels but it was late and we planned on leaving before 6:00 am so we stayed. This place needs a MAJOR refresh.

One of the best in this price range and among the 2 stars motels we experienced. It’s comparable to some big brand… Hampton Inn, Drury…The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean, breakfast has good quality and variety. Convenience location, many shopping , grocery, restaurants and fast food near by. I give 4 stars for room b/c some corners in the room is a little dusty. Otherwise it’s one of the best. Definitely will be back, and started to stay with the Best Western. I forgot to mentioned the front desk lady Erica when we checked in, she is very helpful and cheerful, go above and beyond to try to accommodate us. I didn’t ask her name, I overheard when she talked to other customers when the customer asked about restaurant. She provided good information and even a reference by her name for a small discount 😂.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. First impressions matter, and this hotel certainly knows how to make a good one. It's not a super fancy place. However, for the price, I was extremely impressed. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful surprise, offering a wide array of delicious options to start our day off right. From fluffy scrambled eggs and savory sausage to indulgent gravy and biscuits, there was something to satisfy every craving. And let's not forget the fluffy pancakes, crispy cereal, and mouthwatering muffins that rounded out the spread—a true feast for the senses. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the warmth and hospitality of Erica, the manager. Her friendly demeanor and genuine kindness made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Whether we needed assistance with our room or recommendations for local attractions, Erica was always there to help with a smile. In a world where customer service can sometimes feel like an afterthought, Erica and her team go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels valued and appreciated. Our stay at this hotel was not just a temporary lodging; it was an experience that left a lasting impression, and we can't wait to return.

Good clean room. Staff very helpful. Indoor pool was closed. And there was standing water in several places outside indicating a possible water main leak. Breakfast was fine, coffee was good, several options for breakfast including hard boiled eggs. Nothing special but it's complementary and I didn't have to stop for breakfast. A/C was cold. Television worked with many family friendly channels. Room was plenty big and price was very good. The area around there is very sketchy looking, I observed people riding around with back packs on bycycles in the parking lot.I was concerned about my stuff in my vehicle so I didn't sleep well because of that. Only thing I would suggest is a security gate and fence around the property with guest only access. All in All the hotel was good. I would stay again if necessary at this location, hopefully by then the pool is open and ready.

Person at desk was very helpful and sweet. Once we got our key, we inspected our room and there was a foul smell. We checked the bathroom and there was fecal matter in the toilet (I have a photo but it’s so disturbing I rather not share). Thankfully, we were able to move to another room. This second room was overall fine, but once again, there was an issue in the bathroom where the sink water wouldn’t go down the drain at all. Extremely disappointed with maintenance.

My father and I stay here every 6 weeks while traveling from STL to HOU for his cancer treatment. The staff is always very nice, and the rooms have everything we need to keep us comfortable. They also locked in a very good rate for us.

Dangerous and scary. This BW is located in what has to be the toughest neighborhood in Little Rock. Caters to big rig drivers, whose trucks were parked all along the street. Two food pantires within a couple of blocks. Dive bars everywhere. I never saw the plasma donation center, but I am sure one was nearby. There was a mysterious large metal building across the street, with no windows and a door standing wide open (to the dark, dark interior) in 95-degree heat with disheveled-looking men going in and out. Salvation Army outpost? Bar? Flop house? Soup kitchen? Shooting gallery? It was so scary and unsettling, we never even went in (even though we had made a reservation). We went elsewhere. You should do the same.

It was less than $100 for the stay but the front desk attendant was surly at best. The room had not been well cleaned. The floor had not been vaccumed, there was hair and urine stains near the toilet. The faucet from the tub dripped and the faucet in the room seemed unseated.
