Best Western Sherwood Inn & Suites - Hotel in North Little Rock - 7533 Warden Rd, USA

The shower would not drain. Got locked out of our room twice because both key cards quit working. Tried to use the gym but the equipment was outdated and worn out/not working good. I was charged four dollars for “getting something from the sundry room”. I never got anything from there. The EV chargers at the hotel were apparently broken. Breakfast was subpar at best. Overall terrible experience. The lady that checked me in was very friendly but that’s about the only positive.

The welcome I received upon arrival was so heartfelt and warming. When Ms. Rina greeted me, I felt like family. What a lovely, lovely person! Check in was so easy and she was so thoughtful. Then I got to the room and it was super clean. Everything I needed was there. The bed was super comfortable, and the pillows were perfect. And, the curtains closed all the way! I haven’t seen that in a hotel in years. I always have to bring clips to curtains together, but didn’t have to do that here!!! Breakfast was adequate and the coffee was good, which is a huge plus. It’s hard to get good coffee at a hotel. Everyone here was so friendly. I missed the morning clerks name, but she was very kind. This will now be one of my go to stops as I travel for work.

We came here late after choosing against 3 other motels in the greater Little Rock area. Was clean, friendly, affordable and well managed. In the morning we realized our window looked out on to a pretty clump of pine forest. Breakfast was fine. Only issue to note is there is no elevator for the 2 story facility if you have a lot of luggage or mobility challenges.

I'm not sure what is wrong with their billing system. We stayed here 7/13/2024 and they have put a hold on my husband's card four times since then for the amount we owed for staying one night. I am all for paying what we owe, but why does the charge keep going back and forth after over a month later? There has been nothing wrong with our account as far as funds being available, the money had always been there, so there's no excuse for insufficient funds. However, every week we keep seeing this hold on the account, only to process through, and then come backwhen it should have just went through and settled WEEKS ago. It's ridiculous.

We had a horrible experience with this hotel. Our room had ants!!! When we woke up, all of our food was covered with ants and had to be thrown out. When I talked to the front desk, she smiled and said, everyone has ants this time of year. Our shower would not drain! When I went to front desk there was a sign that said be back in 3 minutes… after waiting 10 minutes, we had to leave. Then I called the hotel 7 times throughout the day, and nobody would answer (attached proof) Finally, when we checked into hotel, we were told pool would be open Monday! The pool never was open and when we asked, we were told it would not be opened during our stay! We chose your hotel because it was an outdoor pool!!! We made a formal complain on July 4, 2024, and was told the hotel had 5 days to respond. I called back on July 14, 2024 and the hotel had not yet responded. Customer service had to call the hotel directly. The hotel told customer service that they did offer us a new room. This option was NEVER given. The hotel owner lied too corporate. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS LOCATIOn

Rooms had a little wear but were clean and comfortable. Breakfast, included with room, was ok. Egg whites, bacon and breads. Typical food for Best Westeens. Staff was great! Parking was very good. Great price. I’d stay here again.

Please BE AWARE of this hotel. First let’s start off with they gave us a keycard to someone’s room. The latch was on when we’re trying to get in the room. We had to go back to the front to get a new room. Second, they did a walk through of the room WHILE my family member was standing at the counter! They gave her deposit back then tried to charge her card TWICE AFTER she LEFT over some pillows and towels. You don’t give someone their deposit back then try and charge their card AFTER THEY LEAVE. She HAS stayed here before and did not have this problem! Everyone has a different experience of course, but they don’t really clean those rooms. Our room had dirt and dust behind the beds and also the nightstand. We asked the housekeeping staff to give us new towels and clean our room, they never came and gave us anything, never cleaned our room at all. We were their 3 days, we also went the front desk as well. The other doors don’t have a keycard that you can use to get in. You basically have to go through the front. The pool is broken as well. They tried to charge my family member over makeup on a towel and pillow. $35 for a pillow and $10 for a towel. He told my family member that he’s sick of us ladies using his towels for makeup removal. That’s discriminating against women. They use very cheap detergent. The soap dispenser did not work in our room at all. It was broke. Then told us we should have asked for our room to be cleaned. We did ask! The sheets are dingy. You can literally look and tell they are not cleaning those rooms or sheets correctly. We will be calling the AR Health Dept to this hotel. The is the WORST Best Western Hotel EVER! An the WIFI IS TERRIBLE! You can’t even log on to it They have Direct TV and barely have any channels.

Great customer service. Rooms smelled like smoke. The shampoo conditioner bodywash in the shower was empty. And there was trash in the room left over from the last people who stayed there . The Indian guy and lady that does the rooms are really nasty and rude.
