Best Western Shepherdsville - Hotel in Shepherdsville - 211 S Lakeview Dr, USA

We arrived after a long drive from Florida and were greeted by a very nice young lady whose name I didn't get. She was most helpful! The room was large and clean. The toiletries were missing shampoo and conditioner but a quick visit to reception sorted that out. The toiletries smell great. We stayed 2 nights and were comfortable. The hotel is in a great location and the staff we met were lovely. I'd recommend a stay here.

We stopped on our way down to Florida just to sleep. It smelt clean and the rooms seemed pretty clean for the most part. I took away a star because the water was pure chlorine, it burned to wash my face (which could just be the water in the area) and there wasn’t a mattress cover or fitted sheet on the mattress which I found weird. Just a sheet that wasn’t big enough to even tuck under the mattress which we found strange and the sheets were itchy. Aside from that, front desk was very nice and we slept good once we were asleep.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. What more can you ask for. Addition 11/1/23: I've stayed here a few times over the past 2 weeks and haven't had a single issue. Staff are friendly. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is something else. It's hot and fresh. The young lady who tends to it is on the ball. Constantly moving around making sure everything is in order and clean.

The bed was "well used"...not as enjoyable as I was looking forward to. Big lump in the middle of the bed and the bed was on the hard side. Great choice for a pet friendly hotel though at only a $30 one time fee for my fur baby! Would stay again, just would like to see an updated bed. Also would like to not hear them cleaning rooms at 9AM. That's a bit early and it got my dog barking.

It is a pretty basic hotel. Nice enough but nothing special. Staff has always been super helpful. They put on a good breakfast. Bathrooms are a little small but they do put the sink outside so you can still use it.

Positive: The rooms were clean and staff helpful. When we entered our room, we noticed a smell coming from the shower drain. We called the front desk. They came immediately, said "yes, there's clearly an odor." They gave us another room, no hassle. Negative: Nothing.

Excellent breakfast and overall service . Everyone I dealt with was helpful and communicative. The parking lot was large enough so you didn’t have to drive around searching for a parking spot. The outside of the building was well lit and all secondary doors had card readers that worked.

I have stayed here quite a few times and have had a pleasant experience until I met Brad. Brad was so unprofessional and rude. I have no idea why he is employed. I will never stay at this hotel again. I pulled in the parking lot for 15 mins and was approached by this man. I ended my phone call and was asked if he could help me. I begin to tell Brad I was on the phone and getting ready to get a room. He says if I wasn’t gone in 5 mins he was going to call the cops. I told him to call them if i had done something wrong. Brad backs up to the door of the building calling a curse words and locks the doors. I was in disbelief. I waited for the cops to get there and they told me that he runs them off sometimes and it was no surprise because he calls them frequently. I am utterly shocked and confused why this man has an attitude of that extent and I cannot promise I will be nice the next time he’s not hiding behind locked doors.
